Many women who aren't biblically submissive to their husbands claim the reason for that is their Husbands not a good enough leader or not Christian enough. The problem with that logic is it's foolish to judge his leadership and then commit sins on top of that. A wife is not responsible for her husbands sins and her job isn't to control his actions by sinning herself. Post Reply

Their husbands can never be man or Christian enough because if that were possible these women would have to give up the very power they have usurped by claiming men don't deserve that power in the first place. And that ain't gonna happen. Now I know some are going to say that if the man prays hard enough and long enough that would fix things. I believe that would only work if the wife was receptive to it. The reason for that is that little thing God gave us called freedom. People no matter how stupid, destructive and hurtful to others their actions and decisions are. God lets them do it. Post Reply

Many times it will be a compromise or sometimes wife gets what she wants, and sometimes the husband gets what he wants. Sometimes both. Everything done in love. That's the most important. Post Reply

For some very unruly and potentially destructive wives ruling the home like a dictatorship may be the only way to make things work. Keeping her from hurting himself, the home, the children and herself no matter what it takes would likely be the most loving thing he could do. Post Reply

LittleDavid View Profile History	FOR MEN Posted : 29 Oct, 2024 04:56 PM It’s not the man who commands his wife to be in submission to him, (at least it shouldn’t be), it’s God himself who commands a woman to be in subjection to her husband. Of course a woman isn’t required to remain in an “abusive” relationship with a hostile immature man. It’s also not the woman who commands her man to “…give himself up…” for her, (it shouldn’t be her anyway), it’s God himself who commands a a man to “…give himself up for his wife…” Post Reply
