🤔🧐 do you have to believe in the trinity to be a christian ❓❓

The doctrine of the Trinity is the proper biblical teaching concerning the nature of God. It is one of the defining elements of the Christian faith. The Trinity, like the deity of Christ John 8:24; John 1:1, 14; Colossians 2:9 Christ’s physical resurrection 1 Corinthians 15:14, 17 and justification by faith alone in Christ alone Romans 3:28; 4:1-5; 5:1; Galatians 2:21 are among the essential doctrines of the Christian faith. To deny any of these is to deny what makes Christianity Christian. But, I want to make it clear that we believe these things because they are true and because the Holy Spirit who indwells Christians bears witness of truth (John 14:26; 15:26).

It is not believing in the Trinity that makes us Christian. Rather, it is being a Christian (and being indwelt by the Holy Spirit) that enables us to believe in the Trinity. So, in one sense it’s not a requirement to affirm the doctrines the Trinity in order to become saved. However, the true Christian will not deny the doctrine of the Trinity because the Holy Spirit will bear witness of truth John 15:26 in the Trinity as true.

⚠️⚠️⚡⚡this would mean that anyone who claims to be a Christian but openly and continually rejects the doctrine of the trinity is probably not truly saved

GREAT IMFORMATION HC‼️‼️‼️

Trinity doctrine is clearly taught all throughout scripture. How could anyone miss it⁉️⁉️⁉️

Even at the very beginning of the Bible in Genesis, the plurality of the God head is an inescapable unavoidable and powerful presence

Interesting. I never thought that not believing in the Trinity is sin. I think, having the wrong focus could be sin. Like if I was a Christian who insisted that the earth is billions of years old and I would devote all my time to debating this subject and never thought about anything else but this, and I would ask others "Do you believe the earth is billions of years old?" and if they say no, then I would stop and debate them for hours, and I would try to convince them as if their life depended on it, then that would be a signal that I don't have the right priorities, because if we look at the big picture, this is just one tiny subject that doesn't really deserve that much time. But if I spent all my time debating people trying to convert everybody to my view, then that would be weird. I mean you can go to heaven thinking the earth is 6000 years old or billions of years old. The problem happens when you take this subject and elevate its importance to such degree that you almost make it a requirement to enter heaven that others believe like you do. And I think the trinity is similar, because if a new convert dies the moment he walks out the church door, he is not going to receive a theological questionnaire at the pearly gates to see if he has the right theology. He just doesn't know. The problem comes when you have someone who insists there is no trinity and they want to devote all their time trying to convince you. Then you know that something is way off...

What if somebody claim to be saved, now a Christian , started reading the Bible. Let's say two years down the road , u meet that person ) who still claims to be a Bible believing Christian) yet that person denies the divinity of Jesus Christ , the bodily resurrection of him & the need to be saved by grace through faith alone/born again .

Would you consider that person to be saved , to be a Christian ❓❓

Silver, I’m trying as hard as I can to clean all the messes you’ve splattered all over the forum.

In the meantime—Please answer HC’s question.

I also have a question for you. Where did HC say anything about the thief on the cross having to be an expert of Trinity Doctrine⁉️⁉️😇😀

Obviously, even the thief on the cross, as immature as his faith was believed Jesus was fully God. Hope that helps. 😀

Totally agree. See, the sinner on the cross next to Jesus was not a holy man. Probably was not a Pharisee or educated to know the Law. He was just a plain sinner. Probably a little bit more than just a plain sinner, because he was crucified and he almost referred to it as just punishment, so he must have done something pretty bad. So, he was a sinner. But he didn't accuse the Roman soldiers or Jesus or anybody. He laid the blame on himself, which shows he was humble. He acknowledged his sin. He condemned it. And He called Jesus Lord. He also publicly acknowledged that. And he talked to Jesus. So, we have the key ingredients to getting saved. But notice that he didn't go to church. He didn't tithe. He probably did not lead anyone to Christ. And he didn't give to the poor or anything like that. He was a really bad sinner who ended up on the cross right next to Jesus, and he recognized Jesus. Jesus was a very popular person in that area. Everybody was talking about him. He was almost like Trump. When you say the name Trump, everybody knows who you're talking about. And people either love him or hate him. There's no one who is just "tolerating him." People are either on this side or on that side. And Jesus was like that. And how fortunate for this guy on the cross that he took the right side!

"What if somebody claim to be saved, now a Christian, started reading the Bible. Let's say two years down the road, u meet that person ) who still claims to be a Bible believing Christian) yet that person denies the divinity of Jesus Christ"

Okay. He is not a Christian anymore. If you read the Bible for two years and then deny the divinity of Christ, then that means you have left the faith. A person can claim to be whatever he wants to be, but that doesn't mean that God recognizes that person as saved.

"Silver, I’m trying as hard as I can to clean all the messes you’ve splattered all over the forum."

Btw I demand an apology from you. Apologize for saying that you need to clean up the mess I leave. I did not leave any mess. You need to apologize.

Would you feel better if I called your “messes” by another name like false teachings instead.

Didn’t you say heaven will be splattered with charismania and it would take me a million years to clean it up?

Maybe you should apologize to God for saying his heaven will look like a false charismatic church from earth.

That’s the best I can do because you’re not saying much of anything that’s biblical.

Sorry if that offends you.

All you’ve been talking about is your false man-made traditions which includes your remake of miracles designed according to your own liking. You even hosted a bunch of false teachers who apparently scratch your itching ears telling you stuff you want to hear.

Therefore, you're just like the Pharisees of old who blew off the law of Moses in order to make up and live by their own man-made traditions.

Jesus said they disobey the law of God in order to keep their own false traditions.

And that’s precisely what you’re doing.

You hardly talk Bible except to misquote it by forcing it to support your own church’s false claims—just like the Pharisees

I think, the problem is that every time I mention the word "miracle," your brain automatically inserts the word "fake" in front of it.

So called Christian Men bash several Denominations Beliefs and call themselves teachers. Let me enlighten You God doesn't call teachers who bash Denominations as long as the Denominations Beliefs are Truth of the Bible!

God judges the heart and something is Spiritually wrong with any Man teacher calling out several different Denominations Beliefs that are Bible Based.

Just because that Man has Unbelief

Seek Jesus Christ for your !! Deliverance 👈👈👈👈👈👈👈

I know Women who can teach the Word of God better than you !! Because You have no leading of the Holy Spirit.

Moonlight/Silver,

Both of you know I wholeheartedly believe in the TRUE biblical miracles performed by TRUE prophets of God, TRUE Apostles of God and by Jesus.

Neither of you have provided a SINGLE example of biblical miracle, yet you claim the miracles of Jesus are still taking place today.

You can’t find any real miracles so you make up false ones.

False prophets and fake miracles go hand in hand
