Are They Suitable?

Just wanted to share something that can be useful for those who are searching for their spouse.

"The vetting process starts from the first moment you come into contact with someone. Vetting means you take your time getting to know this person, assessing your compatibility in different situations and on different levels while keeping your goals in mind." Ellen Nguyen

How long have you been vetting Christ?

I get to know a Man from phone conversations from there if I want to move to the in person meeting.

Every man is a stranger until I meet in person.

Speaking from my experience online

I've met several men in person from another Christian site Unlike this free international site.

Fathers should be vetting and picking the marriage partners for their children and under no circumstance should a women pick her husband.

The best way to know a person is to observe their actions annd words while under pressure. For example: how do they react to disagreement. Are they able to maintain friendships in the face of disagreement? Or do they cut off friendship when others disagree.

Is your friend courteous of other drivers, even the nasty ones?

How is your friend’s relationship with his immediate family?

Does your friend respect authority? Does he respect God’s authority? Is he concerned about the salvation of other people? Is he ashamed of Jesus and of the gospel? Does the person regularly confess his sin and failures to God?

If he is divorced, why is he divorced?

No one is perfect but it does make a huge difference if the person is is obviously moving in the right direction?

We are not well vetting those that cross our border.

Now days, we have "sampling".

In the Bible, "sampling" could mean instant marriage or instant death. (Exodus 22:16 and Deuteronomy 22:23-29)

Ultimately, it is a gamble.

An old Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young song.

"Where are you going now my love? Where will you be tomorrow?

Will you bring me happiness? Or will you bring me sorrow?"

"A wife of noble character, WHO CAN FIND?" (Proverbs 31:10)

"She brings him good, not harm all the days of her life." (Proverbs 31:12)

Yes, in the good old days of early Bible instruction, a father got to decide for his daughter.

He might sell his daughter.

He might listen to his daughter.

Ecclesiastes 9:11, time and chance happen to all.

It is all a gamble. Speculating, gambling, calculating, sampling, vetting. Who knows how well we choose? The proof is in the pudding. But no one much follows the Bible approach to anything.

They say men are from Mars and women are from Venus. It is all cats and dogs. But some cats and dogs get along.

Exactly right.

That’s why checking a person’s established character or way of life is ultimately less risky.

It’s all about hypocrisy. The person either walks the talk or he doesn’t. Don’t be fooled

I liked a man online here Months ago, he was from Texas.

I chatted with him , I messaged him. He was nice at first but he had been married 2x and just wanted a Livin woman.

No more marriages.

He was Very impressive to Me . I was attracted to him.Lol

He was Real , I ask many questions. He didn't like .

Then he talked about sex.

I Only live with a man if I have a " marriage license ' with him.
