I understand your point. You want specific Biblical miracles that involve divine interventions. It seems like you are talking about why evil people have fewer unfortunate events in their lives. Just think about the two pathways: the narrow and wide road in Matthew 7:13-14. People who do evil actions have a smooth life. But in the end, they will suffer as a consequence. It is like enjoying now and suffering later. Hence, those good people, also have several circumstances to test how strong they are. We know that God let the challenges of life for those people with a purpose to make them stronger. It doesn't mean that if we live following Christ we are free from suffering. God even suffered when He was here on earth. How many more those people who believe in Him? Please refer to these Bible texts: Hebrews 12:6, 1 Peter 1:6-7, Job 13:15.

From my perspective, modern miracles still exist but we should not compare them to ancient ones. Through evangelism, faith, mercy, and teaching we can see God's power. Our existence is living proof of the miracles we are looking for. The problems we face each day and how we handle them. God gives us some wisdom and knowledge to understand His ways. It's really up to us how we perceive it. Additionally, remember that Satan can do miracles as well. However, beware of counterfeit miracles. Please refer here; to Matthew 24:24 and 2 Thessalonians 2:9

I’m in total agreement with you Handyman. None of the experiences I or Early mentioned qualifies as a biblical miracle. Early already disagrees with me here

However, the experiences we both mentioned fall well within the realm of the Providence of God.

Far too many Christians confuse the Providence of God with Biblical miracles. Added to the confusion, the English word “miracle” is often used for such experiences that occur within the distinction of God's providence. That’s just one more reason why we cannot define biblical terms with an English dictionary. The Bible was translated from a different language for pete’s sake. That’s why informed theologians appeal to the original language to define original meanings of terms from that language. That should be clear cut enough but for some reason people continue to confuse language meaning between dialects and language differences that translations and translators often do not conveniently convey meanings totally equilaterally because of linguistic overlap and some times because some languages do not always have a word for a foreign word

I do, I have two miracles that are still unexplained. When I was about 7 or 8 I was drawing a picture of Jesus on the cross and needed a red marker for the blood. I walked away for a bit and red paint started rolling down my drawing.

Second, I was taking trash out and something kept shaking in the bushes. I walked over apprehensively and noticed a shiny bracelet with saints on it. I picked it up and have had it ever since

HazelEyesThatSparkle, thank you for your response and your examples. Sorry I didn’t get back to you sooner.

Actually, the kind of miracles I’m looking for are the irrefutable and verifiable kind of instantaneous miracles that Jesus performed publicly.

I appreciate the examples you provided but they come up short on a few details and definitions and do not meet the basic criteria for verifiability. In addition, they can easily be explained in terms of a natural contingency.

Sometimes different Christian denominations have their own distinctive flavor of the “miraculous”. Your’s is consistent with Roman Catholic flavor. Nevertheless, they remain little more than unverifiable anomalies that can be explained naturally. Nothing even close in terms of the instantaneous verifiable miracles performed by Jesus.

If you don't believe in miracles, you can just read the Bible, you know. Just saying...

Who doesn’t believe in miracles?

I believe in the 👉👉👉miracles of the Bible👈👈👈, EVERY one of them!

But I don’t believe in false reports of miracles in Pentecostal and other charismanic churches or on CBN or TBN or anywhere else false miracles are supposed to take place.

Funny thing about TV “miracles”—they can NEVER survive even simplest of fact checks‼️‼️BUT Jesus’s miracles did AND still do‼️

Well, what's the difference between Bible times and now? I mean Elijah or Peter or Paul weren't a special somebody. They were ordinary people just like us, just like anyone in a church today. The only difference is they had miracle-working faith. And Jesus asked this question: "When the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?" (Luke 18:8) He said this after talking about getting our prayers answered. So, is Jesus really going to find faith on this earth when He comes? He told his disciples to cast out demons and heal the sick, and they went out and did what they saw Jesus doing... Once Jesus ascended to heaven, the same miralces kept happening by the hand of the disciples. After the early church, the miracles kept happening until today. If you want to know more about those miracles, I would like to recommend a book for you. It's called 2000 Years of Charismatic Christianity by Dr Eddie Hyatt. You can find it on Amazon.

"I don’t believe in false reports of miracles in Pentecostal and other charismanic churches or on CBN or TBN or anywhere else false miracles are supposed to take place."

How do you know they are false? Is it because of an assumption that there can be no miracles today, or because you researched each one and found out that they are fake?

Thank you Silver, I appreciate your response.

You raised several concerns and I would like to address each but for now I’ll repeat my concern about modern claims for the types of miracles performed by Jesus and the apostles that allegedly are taking place today.

First, can you or the book you recommended name and verify one person who died and was raised from the dead several days 👉after👈 the body had already began to decay?

Second, can you or the book you recommend name one verifiable quadriplegic who was, at some time, instantaneously healed and who rose to their feet and began to walk without learning to walk?

Let’s start there for now.

If anyone could provide instantaneous healing then there would be crowds of people waiting at that Church or any Church where there was someone with "the gift of healing" trying to get in to be healed. Imagine what that would be doing for Church membership.

But nope it ain't happening.
