What kind of music do you listen to most often ? Who's your favorite singer or group?

Oh good question Chevy!

My favorite singer is Josh Groban. I also like Whitney Houston, BarlowGirl, Lynda Randle, Susan Boyle. I also like one or two songs from bands and authors like Rare Blend, 50 Cent, Kid Rock, Jamie Fox, Christina Aguilera, Anastacia. I really like some classics like Ave Maria as well. I also like the Norwegian duo Secret Garden.

So, I like neo-classical, fusion, Christian rock, rap, hip hop, rap metal, pop, Christian music, hymns, etc.

Bob Dylan is cool. :)

Would you believe that I don't listen to music very much? Well, I don't! I have to listen to classical music all-day-every-day at work (even if I'm not teaching, practicing, or accompanying, someone is bound to be teaching a lesson or class just down the hall...and our walls are not soundproof!), so when I have the opportunity to listen to music, I often choose not to just because I'm enjoying the peace and quiet!

When I do listen to music, though, I like to listen to Celtic music. Some of my favorite groups are Celtic Thunder and Celtic Woman. Some favorite performers and/or composers that I've found while listening to Celtic music include: Paul Byrom, Hayley Westenra, James Galway, and Phil Coulter. Other than Celtic music, I listen to Christian music (usually on the radio, but sometimes I'll listen to a CD some friends of mine made) and Broadway musical soundtracks (Jane Eyre, Little Women, The Secret Garden, The Sound of Music, and Les Miserables are some of my favorites).

My favorite thing to listen to during my commute to and from work: talk radio!!!

Lately I have been listening to Electronica and Movie Scores. My favorite musician is BT. My current favorite Movie Score is the soundtrack to "Inception."

In general I listen also to classic rock, hard rock, rock and alternative rock. I don't listen to much Christian "mainstream" stuff because I did not grow up listening to it...though I do enjoy Switchfoot and Thousand Foot Krutch.

Some of my other favorite artists: Tears For Tears, Johnny Cash, Daft Punk, John Williams, Danny Elfman, Mus, Nat King Cole, Steve Miller Band, Hybrid, Cold Play, Depeche Mode, Kirsty Hawkshaw, Jimmy Hendrix

Usually my go-to is Red Dirt music or updated hymns. I like country, but I feel like the Nashville scene is too over-produced and that the record labels just want the same lyrics and the same sound recycled again and again.

I listen to all kinds. I'm a little bit country and a little bit rock and roll. Lol Among my favorites are Garth Brooks, John Denver, The Crabb Family Singers, Peter, Paul, and Mary, Simon and Garfuncle, Faith Hill and Tim Mcgraw. Oh, and can't forget Lynrd Skynrd and The Eagles!

Also Starry Starry Night was done by Don McClean. Good song. I think I'll listen to it.
