In this case it would probably be the Nephilim spoken of in Genesis 6:4 'The Nephillim were on the earth in those days --- and also afterward ..." In extrabiblical literature some where purported to be man eaters. Post Reply
View Profile History	folklore Posted : 19 Apr, 2011 07:39 PM I have a great uncle that use to go hunting around Boggy Creek and the surrounding area where Mr. Bigfoot is rumored to exist in Southeast Arkansas. He would tell us all kinds of stories about seeing and hearing strange things way back in the woods. My dad would tell us that he did more drinking than hunting, though. My 90 year old great grandmother (at the time) went hunting too (alone--and sober!) on those same trails but never heard any stories from her. I'm don't doubt he could exist, but I've never seen any tangible evidence yet to prove either way, so my mind is still open on the subject. Post Reply
