Is modesty sexy? (ie...dressing in long dresses instead of shorter fitting ones, etc. You get the point) Can a christian woman be sexy? Appealing? Not trashy, I said sexy. The reason I ask is because a Christian husband I'm sure wants a desirable woman, especially if he's waited for. Marriage is forever. DON'T GET MAD AT ME, I'M JUST ASKIN. Post Reply

I personally like the more conservative, traditional Brooks Brothers look, but I'm sure there's other styles women can wear that are attractive without being trashy and modest without being frumpy. Posted : 13 Apr, 2011 10:15 AM I'm a woman, but Imma answer cause I can do that. :laugh: I think men who have some issue whether it be small or large (there seems to be degrees) of lust, want to see (T & A) yeah, I said it, the more leg the better, etc... Some men will say no, I just appreciate the woman's form, blah, blah, blah I believe a man with the Spirit of God living on the inside, with no lust issues will want his or his potential woman to dress tastefully and with some class as to be proud of her when she is on his arm. She can put on lingerie, boo ty shorts and or whatever turns them both on when they get home. I'm heavily endowed and I have been lusted after since I was 12 by teens & grown men alike. So, it turns me completely off to be the focus of that type of attention, because if you like it on me, you like it on others. I want the man I'm with to see the inappropriateness of underdressing in public just like other women do. The Word says to be modest, so that IS how it's supposed to be. I think there is a modest sexy and a bedroom sexy that should be independent of the public. Now don't get me wrong showing skin is appealing, BUT that is what I want to stay away from because in my heart I know it can turn to lust if I don't turn away. Even if I had a wife I wouldn't want her to show too much skin in public so that it doesn't cause other guys to lust after her and cause them to commit sin. I would rather have "my girl" dress in fitted jeans and a fitted T in public, it is modest and appealing, but yet does not cause me to lust. What ever happens in the bedroom between a married couple should stay there. A verse comes to mind about not causing others sin, but the reference escapes me. Post Reply
