Hearing the laughter of family and friends. ____________________________ 4. Walking in the rain. ____________________________ 5. Being greeted excitedly by Rascal (my dog) when I get home from work. ____________________________ 6. Strong cup of coffee (black) _____________________________ 7. Rodeos ( I'm going to one on Saturday.) ____________________________ 8. Seeing everyone's answers to the questions in the chat forum.
1) My favorite animals are cats. Nothing is quite the same as snuggling with a fuzzy kitty!
2) My favorite type of day is one just like today is...mild, sunny, breezy, with flowers in full bloom.
3) My favorite food is...ok, I can't pick just one. Chinese food, Mexican food, and Italian food are at the top of the list, with good ol' home cooking being right up there too.
4) My favorite type of music is musical theater. It is just fun!
5) My favorite musical is "Jane Eyre: The Musical." If you haven't heard of it, look it up!
6) My favorite book...again, too many to name, but the entire "Chronicles of Narnia" series is probably in the top 5.
7) My favorite sport to play is mini-golf. That's a sport, right?
8) My favorite time of year is autumn (even though my favorite type of day is usually in the spring!). I like the cool, crisp air that signals the coming of winter, I love the distinct look that the shadows get just before the leaves start turning colors, and I love the look and sound of the brightly colored leaves rustling in the wind and swirling to the ground.
And just because this topic made me think of it, I happen to like this song, too!
"My Favorite Things" (from "The Sound of Music")
Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things
Cream colored ponies and crisp apple streudels
Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles
I enjoy going down to Ft. Amanda when the weather is nice and sit down by the river and just listen to the sounds all around me, the buzzing insects, the babbling water, the rustling leaves... it's the place I go when I need to be alone with God.
I enjoy listening to music... almost all kinds of music... I do get into moods for certain genre's or musical themes but I love to belt out most songs while in my truck driving
I enjoy spending time with friends and family... whatever the occasion (or lack thereof and it being a "just because")
I enjoy my dog being jealous of me... and groveling and whining when she thinks (or I am) paying attention to my mom's dog.
I also enjoy it when my mom's dog becomes jealous of my dog when I'm loving on her... they are two very spoiled dogs LOL
I enjoy when my cat morris purrs in my ear in the mornings to wake me up
I enjoy just being able to enjoy God's creation... flowers, animals, lakes and rivers, just everything... I love looking at the starry night sky when there are no clouds and the stars seem to go on to infinity... I love listening to the babbling of a river or the lapping of the waves on a rocky shore... I love the chirping of birds in the morning... there are just too many things to list..
