I know this is an absolute impossibility!!! But here is the scenario: Beyond your wildest dreams, Arch-Angel Michael shows up in your room one awesome mid-night. You thought it was some weird dream or spooky event. But his voice bellows: You have won our God-for-a-day challenge and I'm here to usher you to your new supernatural status to play God of heaven and earth for the next 24hrs. He hands you the keys of life, death, heaven, hell, hades, the whole earth. Angels are at your service. Can you share a little bit on how you intend to use this new power - especially in relation to an ex? Thanks for being open and sincere. Actually, I'm thinking about it myself. Post Reply

Posted : 18 Feb, 2011 08:57 AM My power would be used to soften his heart towards any past hurts to forgive those who hurt him in his childhood and adult life, help him receive truth within and then let him make his choice as to who he would serve as also does God in everyone's life. My prayer has always been for his salvation, nothing else really matters now does it? Oddly enough I was married twice, both men cheated and both men filed...and I still pray they come to truely know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Therefore my past has been sullied with divorce and who I am many will pass by because of divorce associated with my name, as God I would also open more people's mind to their own judgement tactics they use to serve their own purpose. As long as I was God I thought I could tac that one on here:) (I am estranged from both exes, no contact ever.) Thx Boaz for letting me dream... Post Reply

Posted : 18 Feb, 2011 03:45 PM I do not have any bitterness toward my ex...I love him and we get along fine. We just werent meant to be married. Been divorced 9 years so I'm over all the anger :) If I were God for a day: I would make all women whole in their emotions so that they would know their worth. I would remove child abuse I would make it to where men would be happy with one woman for life..and also heal their hearts. Post Reply

Posted : 18 Feb, 2011 09:05 PM Ms PreciousinhisSite, You are welcome, and, thanks for sharing such selfless, godly perspective - it reveals how forgiving you are towards those who hurt you.. About the divorces, it doesn't really matter what anyone might think or say about the way things turn out for you. Its a matter of conscience between you and God. Try your best to advance your life beyond those sordid past into a glorious future. Paula White, Juanita Bynum and so many other women had multiple divorces, but they keep preaching. Just live life as best as you can. My post on Serial Monogamy focuses on men or women who initiate divorces as a habit and keep marrying as a habit or an obsession. That's an anomaly if not a malady. May God open doors of marital stability for you here or elsewhere - that's my prayer for you. Post Reply
