Admin	Curious to know your opinions Posted : 17 Jan, 2011 04:01 PM I'm always getting IM's or e-mails from guys wanting my personal e-mail address right away, which I do not give out?? I figure they are scammers, but I'm curious to know if any of you guys do that? I always assume it's a scammer? What do you think? Post Reply

Back when I was naive about spammers I gave out my email address and my aol passwor got hacked and everyone I had ever emailed received a advertisement from I site I had never been on of scantily clad russian wannabe brides, worse yet...they were all addressed as if they had been sent from me personally!.....quite embarrassing, no matter what you say people still wonder what you have been up to on the internet. Btw : If you ever find out the true identity of a spammer there is a 50 dollar reward. Post Reply

If it is a scammer, I doubt they will invest a month in meaningful communication to get an email for spam purposes. I would never ask for someones email on first meeting. Post Reply

I've asked for their phone numbers for easier communication but I see little point in getting an email address when the website automatically forwards the messages anyway. Post Reply
