Copy and Paste using a Droid

This is for Chuck and those whom have mentioned not being able to copy and paste with their Droids:

(I copied and pasted this from the Internet) (or is it "Passedit"?)

1. First, turn on the Motorola Droid and identify some text within an app that you wish to copy. This text could be text from a page on the internet or perhaps a line in an email. You can copy and paste text in just about every app that has text, including text messages.

2.

Next, press and hold your finger near the text that you wish to copy. After holding for 2 seconds, a menu will appear. One of the options is to "Select Text". Select this option to begin highlighting text to copy.

3.

Now drag your finger over the text that you would like to copy (this highlights it).

4.

Once you have highlighted the text, press and hold your finger again on the selected text. After a couple of seconds a menu will pop up again. This time select "Copy" or "Cut", depending on whether you want to remove the text after copying.

Paschen,

You need to push the menu button first, then when the menu pops up, touch where it says "more",then you will get a new menu, touch, "select text" it will automatically go back go the original screen, touching the text you want will highlight it and save it to the clip board. Then go to where you want to paste it repeat the above except touch the word,"paste"
