Admin	AGE RANGES SET BY MALES AT THIS SITE. Posted : 3 Dec, 2010 11:13 AM ... first, let me do a disclaimer here...if this has been posted and/or questioned before, I haven't seen it. I did not take the time to wade through all the subject matter to discover this particular topic... So, here is my question: If a man posts his profile and he is over the age of 60 ~ and he is interested in marriage or finding a marriage partner ~ and his age range begins at the age of 18 (listing of those he would be interested in speaking to, etc.)...how do you feel about that? It gives me the chills and I wonder...but I sure got a Red Flag when I see things like that. What would a 60+ year old man want with an 18-year-old. Is this age appropriate? Someone steer me in the right direction because as it stands now, it makes me more than a bit uncomfortable. Post Reply

When you set the age range, this site blocks users outside that range from contacting you. So it is possible to have to set the age range so people can contact you on a purely friends level, to follow up on a forum discussion, etc etc. Post Reply

There are those, however, who are looking for a WAY younger woman. I would look and see if he tends to posts in the forums or not. Post Reply

I guess ~ clearly ~ if someone is looking for "friendship" and the age range would be, "any" ~ there is a difference there. However, in many cases, what I see written is the person ~ male ~ at the said age range (which I questioned) and the beginning "range" starting at the teenage level. When I just placed that word, above ("teenage") ... it once again gave me a bit of a chill. EIGHTEEN...is inclusive. Now, trust me, I am not trying to turn something into a "negative" here ~ because even I have placed my age range (in the past) to "any". BUT... By the same token ~ I also never specified that I was seeking a marriage partner. And, yes, some do in fact have the age ranges set very low. That being the case ~ I wonder at the sincerity. Sometimes I think it's not wanting to let go of their youth, mid-life crisis or like Hugh Heffner, just wanting young beautiful women to boost their ego and give them the outward persona of being the mack. Who knows why men do what they do? :toomuch::laugh: I can't talk long on it since I prefer older men myself. (I'm 39 and the last guy I went on a date with a couple months ago was 55) When the age diff start stretching beyond 20 years there could possibly be something unhealthy going on mentally. But if we took statiscs, I would bet it would be as simple as for young women, security and older men, a youthful wife to be a tropy on their arm. I suppose everybody over 18 is in the pool, but how anyone in their 60's could deal with the foolishness of youth that is an 18 yr old is beyond me. Post Reply

And, it might in some way clear up some things that might be considered "iffy" at best. Who knows why such things happen, but, they certainly do. My personal thought and observation is that someone being in the Senior Citizen classification ~ has Grandchildren that age. Imagine introducing an 18-year-old girlfriend to an 18-year-old Grandchild...EuWWWWwwwwwwwwww Or, reverse the situation ~ and it would appear the same if the gender were reversed...so that train runs both ways ~ I am not discriminatory!!! :ROFL: Post Reply

How Old did King David live. 1 Kings Chapter one gives an example of what young beautiful virgins are good for. And it is not what you think, Evil in the eye of the noisy gossip type. King David�s other wives could not give him what he needed. I�m not quite sixty and I have heard this complaint so often on here. I am beginning to wonder if �HEY� maybe there is �some good reason� for an older guy to find a younger woman. What exactly is required for a guy my age? I think the main fear is menopausal or avanced pms post menopausal women syndrome. The thought,and I'm not saying I agree, is it is better to get a woman before she goes all crazy (hormone stuff). :eat: Post Reply
