To Wink or Not To WinkPosted : 1 Dec, 2010 07:46 PMI find it flattering, to be honest. I don't see why people should be offended over "Hey, I want to know you more." |

To Wink or Not To WinkPosted : 1 Dec, 2010 07:47 PMyou better at least wink, or better yet, send a little message. Otherwise a guy won't even know you exist on here. |

To Wink or Not To WinkPosted : 1 Dec, 2010 08:50 PMKeep in mind that when women make the first contact, the success rate of the relationship is 6 times higher then when the man makes the first contact. I hope that made sense. |

To Wink or Not To WinkPosted : 1 Dec, 2010 09:49 PMWink! Guy's need a little bit of evidence to work from. In real life we can see body language and hear inflection, so why not wink online? |

To Wink or Not To WinkPosted : 2 Dec, 2010 01:15 AMIf there was a Hi button, I would prob click that first. However, sense there is not, I would send a wink or a message. I mean, how else will he know that you like what you see or what you have read? |

To Wink or Not To WinkPosted : 2 Dec, 2010 04:16 AMIf it helps, think about it like this. In real life, what would you do? If you were far away, you'd look at the guy, right? Maybe smile? He'd notice, smile, and (as the dream goes), walk up to you and start a conversation. Think of a wink as that initial smile or gaze; it's nothing more than that. Pursuit is much, much more than just the initial indication of interest! You are certainly not pursuing if you merely let him know that he's interesting. |

To Wink or Not To WinkPosted : 2 Dec, 2010 05:02 AMAlthough I'm not especially fond of the winks on here (the blinking is so annoying!), I agree with SilverFire. As he said, you're simply letting the guy know that you find him interesting by sending off a wink. Basically, you're putting yourself on his radar. From there, it's still his decision to pursue you (or not!). |
