Admin	VOICES IN MY HEAD....for dummies Posted : 28 Nov, 2010 04:51 PM Ever wondered who it is you are talking to when you talk to yourself? or When you hear a thought in your head, ask : Was that God or me? I have attempted to write a "Who's Who for dummies" which I submit for your consideration and comment. Feel free to disagree, tweak, give your opinion, or call me a heretic ; -) *God creates a body with a mind and heart, ie : the 'flesh' *Into this body God puts the 'spirit of man' *The combination of the physical and spiritual becomes a living soul. *The 'spirit of man' and the 'flesh' struggle for control or identity of the soul. *The spirit of man is not strong enough by itself to wrestle control away from the flesh. *The soul becomes corrupt because it is controlled by the flesh which is temporary and cannot enter a spiritual kingdom. *A corrupt soul opens itself to other spirits who become allies with the flesh against the spirit for control of the soul. *The Holy Spirit has wrestled the 'flesh' in Jesus and won. *The Holy Spirit has conquered all spirits. *When we are born again God gives us a new spirit, ie : the Holy Spirit. *The Holy Spirit wrestles control of our soul back from the flesh. *The soul now controlled by the Holy Spirit becomes a new creation. *The soul controlled by the Holy Spirit can enter a spiritual kingdom. So who are those voices? Could be your spirit, the split personality of your flesh, ie : (body, mind or heart), could be your soul or the Holy Spirit. John 10 ~ My sheep will know my voice. And you thought schizophrenia and hearing voices was abnormal ..lol Post Reply

View Profile History	VOICES IN MY HEAD....for dummies Posted : 28 Nov, 2010 06:11 PM That VOICES IN MY HEAD FOR DUMMIES book sounds like it might be a REAL money-maker there, Chuck!!! :hearts::hearts::hearts: Start cha on the "road to real riches", as they say!!! :dancingp::dancingp::dancingp: Seriously, God speaks to us in various ways, as we've learned from His Word, and discerning and seperating "the voices" that we hear to recognize His from others is part of our growth process into Christlikeness through the Holy Spirit's teaching and revelations as we communicate and relate with Him, our Father in Heaven, and our Lord and Savior Jesus ... so, depending on our maturity level in spiritual growth, we can tell when we are speaking to ourselves, God is speaking to us, the enemy and/or his cohorts are speaking to us, or our "flesh" is speaking to us, don't cha think? I'm reminded of this young [in the Lord] girl that years ago told my Pastor, whom she had only seen in that one service, that God told her during that one service that she was going to marry him. He asked her if God had told his wife that too. This is why it's so important to stay saturated in the Word, grow in the Lord and keep fellowship with other believers, so when the 'voices' do enter your mind you can recognize from where they come.
