A Prayer for Our Fallen

How many of us can name a Fallen Hero? Just One man or woman that has Given their Life in the Name of Freedom? Not very many of us can and I know it is not a pleasant thing to think about, but I would like for you to give it just a few moments thoughts today.

Think about being willing to Die for someone else? Think about thisthat Christ Died for us and our Men and Women in Our Armed Forces are also willing to Die for us. While I, in no way am equating Christs Sacrifice with that of those that have Fallen in The Line of DutyI would like for you to think about it these men and women are willing to Emulate Christ in their Love for their fellow Mankind.

Soif you wouldsay a Prayer for those men and women that are in Harms Way and also a Prayer of Thanks for those that have Fallen and for their Families that miss them dearly.

God Bless Our Military and may God Protect them and Bless their Families. Amen!

My dear precious Jesus,

I come in agreement with my brother here. I thank you for placing

the call on your select few to become a soldier for our continued

freedoms sake.

I ask for Your continuous watchful eye and hands of protection upon

each and everyone of them. I pray you bestow Your comfort, strength,

Inner peace and joy that can only come from You.

I pray that for those who don't know you as their Lord and Savior that You

bring someone or something that would point their hearts and lives to You.

I pray that those who do know you grow stronger and deeper in relationship

with You.

I pray you cover each family extended family and friends with Your peace and

comfort knowing their son, daughter, sister, brother, and friend are in Your

hands.

I pray for comfort and healing for those that have lost loved ones in battle. I

pray Your joy springs forth in the mourning.

I love you Jesus! I thank you for adopting me into your eternal family. Thank you

for making the ultimate sacrifice of unconditional love for me.

In Jesus name I pray these things, Amen and Amen.
