God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in him. We were created to delight in the Lord. On the list of other things that make me happy in other ways: motorcycles, cars, backpacking through the mountains, cheesecake, fire, bow ties, a clean apartment, friends calling and inviting me to things, sweet tea, text messages, and many, many more. Posted : 25 Nov, 2010 10:25 AM Happiness is temporary...Joy is eternal AND from God ;) I get joy from my kids, when they are together and getting along. Knowing that I'm not alone but have Him brings me joy. I also have joy knowing that I'm loved unconditionally by our Creator. Sharing good food with family and friends warms my heart. I believe happiness is temporary if you rely too much on 'things' to make or keep you happy. In Scripture, happy oftentimes means "blessed" or "blessed are". Happiness also comes from God; happy is the people whose God is the Lord. Post Reply
