How many years is too much? Is it a recipe for disaster? Not sure how I feel about it and would like to hear from the guys.

Thanks!

For me, anything over 40 is no way, over 30 is possible, but not likely. I prefer younger than me.

Ok! I guess the question I have for you then, is how old are you? Trying to figure how many years that is for you. And I'm sure it's different for each individual.

28, and when I skim through profiles, I tend to prefer looking at 20-25 age range.

As i've said in someones' thread i think named "Age" i've said "someone who is not too young to your brother or sister or someone who's too old to be your parents".

Any age difference seven years or more is probably not going to work. The closer to your own age you can get, the better.

My last girl friend was 31, I was 51. At first it was a ego boost but as things got serious I began to have doubts. I talked to her on numerous occasions about it.but did not want to appear obsessive about age, but I was. I could not get out of my head that in 20 years I would be 71 and she would be 51...would I want to be married to a 71 year old? I confided in a friend about it. His comment was Who is to say you have 20 years left Hahaha. Anyway that is the# 1 reason we aren't still together. To answer your question, I think one needs to stay in their own generation.

I'm 21. I have little interest in college freshmen, so I'm really looking for 19-24. I've tended to date a couple years older, and it's never really been that big of a problem. Honestly, it would feel weird to me to date someone younger.

I don't think the age is as important as the "compatibility" part is.

If you both are athletic and physical...can the 71 year old keep up? If you both are more cerebral and indoorsy, then 71 and 51 are not that far apart (especially after you pass 50). Of course the 71 year old needs to stay in as good a shape as possible, but the age difference should not be that big a deal.

It is all up to the individuals.

Whos to question Love?

@Arch

Had I known I was going to live this long, I would have taken better care of myself when I was young!

Two,

what does the @ in front of a person's name indicate? It doesn't mean @Hole does it?
