It seems that this Forum is more about Posturing and Strutting and "Hey...look at me!" then serious discussions about Life and Religion. Then again...that is Human Nature -- to use whatever is available to gain a position of power or authority to be the "center of attention". Sort of a child acting up so as to get attention. Say something provacative to get a response and sex is a Provacative topic. Although I do not mind speaking about it as it is an important aspect of life and essential to mankind's growth and marrital harmony, I dislike Sophomoric, Puerile attempts at attention. As some one did already in this form. Question- Would you say gay jokes in front of Jesus? Well???? Would you talk about your personal life in public, your do you have enough wisdom to keep somethings between just you and God. Bashing Gays is a sin. Posted : 21 Nov, 2010 12:51 PM On every forum and in every area of life where there are people, there will be those that do and say things to get attention. To me, the best way to deal with them is to not give them what they want. I know some think I'm one of those ppl, and thank God I know who I am enough to not care what ppl think. I am not afraid to just be myself and I WILL talk freely about whatever God allows me to. There ARE other interesting topics, but sex is verrrrryyyyy interesting. Aren't the top 3, sex, money and politics? It's just what I get for joining in on a forum full conservative, old school folks who consider certain topics taboo and like to sweep stuff under the rug. I've got to go to a forum of unsaved folk just to be able to speak freely. I believe that uneasiness in talking about certain things indicate bondage and the need to be delivered and set free in that area. And the attempt to put everybody else in your puritan box, not only is controling and manipulative, but ain't gonna work. Post Reply

If I feel uncomfortable talking about a subject (in this case - s*x) - that, in my opinion, does NOT mean I am in bondage. There could be many reasons for it. Personally - I don't feel comfortable discussing it on the Forum because --- this is a free site with a wide open audience. I don't feel comfortable talking about that and other subjects in such mixed company. I am not in bondage and I don't need deliverance from these feelings. It is my comfort zone, my personal convictions, and I do not feel they are wrong. I don't ask (or insist) others feel the same way. I make a choice on which Forums topics to read and which to post to. If I feel that too many Forums topics are being devoted to s*x or some other topic I don't feel comfortable discussing in mixed company --- I will probably say something too, just like Saved did. Posted : 21 Nov, 2010 04:12 PM I never noticed the forum topics are about one thing or another -- unless you've got evidence, all you have is your own opinion. Please post your evidence. Now, if that is in fact, true, what of it? Who are you to tell people that they can or cannot ask questions on a very wide topic such as sex? Why don't their questions deserve to be answered? Why can't they receive good words from brothers and sisters that will lead to their edification? Why must they be kept in the dark and hurting? Did you notice that the Bible deals with sex? TO THE PURE ALL THINGS ARE PURE. If you find this topic (a very wide topic) to be impure, go back and memorize that verse I just posted, and/or get busy cutting out passages from your Bible. Might I suggest that you cut out the entire book of Song of Solomon? And I too have seen no-one call homosexuals names. It's time to stop confusing the two issues, in any case. Post Reply

This is the only forum I've ever been on where ppl are trying to dictate what ppl can say & talk about. Just like its Saved & your right to not like or post on threads of a sexual nature, we who are comfortable can & should be able to post what we want to talk about. They've got administrators to censor and a button to push when anyone feels so strongly that someone is saying something that inappropriate. We are not children, so we don't need to be told what we can or can not talk about. I still say, just pass the ones you don't want to comment on & let grown ppl be grown. Posted : 21 Nov, 2010 05:21 PM Since the conversation seems to be taking place on this thread instead of the other one, I'll repost what I wrote: Just looking at the front page here, there's your two threads, a thread about handguns, a thread bemoaning the absence of a more masculine outlet on here, a poem about seeking satisfaction in Christ, a thread about lack of communication, a thread about how men and women communicate, a thread about what we're thankful for, a thread about how hard it is to meet other Christian singles, and a thread asking why some guys use a certain phrase. That seems fairly diverse if you ask me and shows little to no support for your argument. Post Reply
