Facebook?Friends?Posted : 9 Nov, 2010 09:46 PMI have to ask this. Are you REALLY someones' friend if they add you as a friend on (not promitng anyones business here CDFF)Facebook,Tagged,Twitter,Myspace,Youtube,Yahoo,Stumbleupon, Ning & other social & video sites ?Are they still your friend if you don't know them ?First of all i'm not on any of these sites i've mentioned here (thank God for that too) nor i know any about them except for Youtube who is more like a video site to me. How i know about Facebook & Tagged is that my older sister is on these sites as a member and have many people either she or the people can request you as a friend. I personally don't want to be any friend with people like that who insult & curse you,who shows "dirty houmorious" pics etc. Another reason was when my sister showed me yesterday a man who "request" to a friend & has a ring in his tounge!ew!gross!! Of couse she did'nt accept!!!!:ROFL: |

Facebook?Friends?Posted : 9 Nov, 2010 10:27 PMMy Standard for Facebook friendship is if we passed each other on the street, would we stop and have a conversation? If yes, then we can be friends on Facebook. If no, then tough biscuits, cowboy. There's no point in accepting a friend request from someone you don't know. |

Facebook?Friends?Posted : 9 Nov, 2010 10:30 PMI am on FB, but it started as a project for my Sociology class a few semesters ago. I have a few friends from CDFF, a few relatives, but the majority of my "friends" are prayer groups, gospel music groups, pastors, and other various religious organizaions. There are a few that somehow made their way in since someone hijacked my page a couple weeks ago, but am trying to weed them out. |

Facebook?Friends?Posted : 10 Nov, 2010 04:39 AMMr. Wise, you've got a really negative perception of FB that is very one-sided. CDFF is not opposed to FB, but rather us giving out personal info about ourselves, such as FB, email, cell numbers, to strangers. |

Facebook?Friends?Posted : 10 Nov, 2010 05:26 AMI have a facebook but only accept friendships from actual people I know. I think facebook can be a good thing and a bad depending on your personality and what you are actually looking for. Sadly my fiance's interaction with women online at facebook contributed to the end of our relationship. But on the upside I get to keep in touch with family and friends and look at everyones pics and enjoy them. |

Facebook?Friends?Posted : 10 Nov, 2010 06:23 AMI do have Facebook, and I love it! BUT, I'm also very careful with what I post on there. I don't have my phone number or address on there, I don't have my birth year, and I don't post stupid things like "Out of town for the next two weeks" or "Home alone for the next few hours." |
