Part One:

Write 20 expectations you will have of your finance when you are

married, then; take each expectation and write a short sentence

indicating how your marriage relationship would be affected if this

expectation were not met.

Part two is on my next Forum Thread following this one...

I don't think I can come up with 20...here's 1.

Expectation #1: That she really biblically loves me.

Everything falls under that one. I wouldn't want/expect her to do anything for me that she doesn't want to do.

Were we supposed to post all of them on here? I thought this was sort of a "do it on your own for personal development" sort of suggestion.

When I am married:

1. home / work

I could be plain housewife or continue to work. It is up to the man in the house. I would be happy to just make a home or make a home and work also not to support him but to help my young girls up to a point.

2. space

In getting married, what changed is ones space. I think for single guys it is hard to give up especially when getting hitched with a clingy partner. In almost everything one need to consider the other half and not just ones whole self. It is easier thought of than done.

3. credit card/thrift

In finances, I will continue to be reasonably thrifty and maybe still continue to refuse using a credit card. I expect us to live within our means, or better below our means, and be worry free.

Can only think of three expectations, I guess too much expectations is heading towards too much frustrations.
