Some one has been looking for true confessions ; but I won't mention any names alycorn25:rolleyes:

So here it goes:

Matt 6:15 says quite plainly : "But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins."

My confession of unforgiveness is this : 3 years ago there was a incident where I had worked for over 25 years. I told the truth, but 2 others (one being my manager) lied and I was let go with only 15 minutes warning. Although I got another job 2 days later, I don't feel I have really forgiven them.

OK, I went first; anybody else harboring feelings of unforgiveness they want to confess?

(I know I'm not the only one. . . .am I ?)

I have struggled a LONG time with unforgiveness..I know I have not forgiven one person. when i was young I was living with my grandmother and her boy friend used to seek me out ofr unthinkible things. I managed to always fend him off. Thank the Lord for a lock on the bathroom door. However when my grandmother was told of his actions she said I was lying. Except that he had done this before with ALL the females in my family and it was very well known. He actually continued until long after i was married to try to catch me alone. I have never been able to forgive my grandmother. I am still working on that.

Other than my grandmother the hardest time i had with forgiveness was actually forgiving myself for things in my past. But the Lord worked on me until I finally seen I had to forgive myself before i could forgive anyone else.

Do we have to forgive Satan? That's the only one I can think of, but I've had a pretty sheltered/un-abused life.

My church set me up. Plain and simple. After setting me up, they left me in another country, alone and unknowing of what they had done.

Forgiveness is an area I am still struggling with 10 years later. I am working on it one individual at a time.
