Admin	question about lingerie Posted : 15 Oct, 2010 01:04 AM I had this guy friend a few years ago who told me that it's sinful for single women to wear coloured undergarments. He believed that the only appropriate choices were white and beige. His explanation for this was that a woman couldn't select coloured underthings without having impure thoughts... that a woman would only select coloured ones if she was trying to feel sexy... and that it's wrong for a single woman to have any thoughts of wanting to feel sexy. What do you all think? Are coloured undergarments okay or sinful for the single gal? Post Reply

He is trying to judge something he cant see and thats a woman's intention. Sounds like he needs to get busy working his own salvation out. What do i care what color a womans undies are as long as they are off my radar i dont think about it. Unless shes got black draws under white pants and than i just laugh to myself. lol Post Reply

The color of the undergarment doesn't matter unless you have some personal convictions about it; the guy sounds like he's grabbed ahold of some crazy ideas, though. Post Reply

I didn't know there was a special kind? lol And, yeah, he was very judgmental, in general. These kind of remarks were rather typical of him actually. @babygirl- We're not friends any longer or I'd be happy to ask him for you! I was so stunned when he just blurted this out (VERY out of the blue) that I wasn't quite sure what to say! It was kinda embarrassing the way he just started talking about it! I felt like he expected some kind of confession of what colour I had on, but I didn't tell him =) And then he expressed romantic interest in me later on, and I was thinking, "Dude... The way to my heart is not to lecture me about my undergarment colours!!" The pole... =) TIP FOR MEN: Don't randomly lecture women about the colour of their undergarments. He was so serious about it, though, like he thought it was one of the worst problems with Christian women today! I actually felt kinda guilty for a little awhile afterwards. I would look through my lingerie dresser in the morning to pick my stuff out and feel like the only stuff I had was "inappropriate." At the time, I don't think I even had any items in white or beige to choose from. Post Reply

Maybe he just wanted to talk about lingerie:rolleyes:. Seems to work like that. The uber-strict ones are usually the perverts deep down, and it kinda makes sense. They can't have any kind of impure thought or they get in trouble. Maybe he had on some tighty-whities with multi-colored stripes that were bothering him. Or perhaps an ex-wife who started putting on the special colored stuff toward the end. Anywho - gotta color coordinate in case a strap shows at some point during the day, right? Purses aren't our friends sometimes. Post Reply
