Posted : 26 Sep, 2010 02:01 AM I'm looking forward to celebrating this joyous season with Charlie as this will be our first Christmas together. I look forward to going to church service together ushering in the start of this blessed season, to go see the different neighborhoods decorated for Christmas, drinking hot cocoa while caroling in the crisp cool air, laughter, decorating/trimming OUR Christmas Tree, and snuggleing on the couch while watching, "It's A Wonderful Life" to name a few. I love you Charlie, I look forward to talking and dreaming with you about our future together. I sincerely thank God for placing you in my life. Post Reply

That the team is closer to the January mission trip. That will mean that I am at the halfway point of my degree program. Looking to the future It will be closer to beginning and end of Spring semester and a new rank promotion. I am also glad that we are about 13 months away from the PR Diva half marathon. Post Reply

Posted : 26 Sep, 2010 04:01 PM On the first day of Christmas...(I like the Redneck version of this song myself) I am going to enjoy watching "It's a Wonderful Life" while eating popcorn and M&M's and trying to get Sharon to taste egg nog (non-alcoholic, of course!) and at the look on her face when she finally does! (I know I'll get you to!) Decorating our first tree together and letting her hang up my special little angel ornament after she gets me untangled from the lights. Watching Christmas parades together while holding hands and hoping Santa throws some candy to us from the fire engine. Putting up mistle toe under every doorway and using it to my advantage! Christmas caroling. Window shopping at the mall and picking out rings Driving around and getting lost while looking at Christmas lights. Watching Sharon shake the stuffing out of her presents trying to guess what they are. Post Reply

In addition, the very last class for my doctorate will be finishing up. After four very long years, the end will be in site. All that will be left is the dissertation. We get together and I cook a hugh traditonal Bahamian Christmas dinner. We exchange the "big gift" (what we requested from each other for Christmas) and the "small gift" (surprise gifts we get each other). I open all gift the day I get them. I cannot understand having a gift and just letting it sit. So Christmas morning I open everyone elses gifts and model it for them.....Every year I get fussed out from my family for doing that....I can't wait!!:applause::applause: Post Reply
