My question is: What am I supposed to do when I get "winked?" Do I "wink" back, send a message, what? I realize for you guys it probably is putting yourself out there, but to me it's a cop out from just sending me a message ... Let me know if I'm overanalyzing ... What kind of response were you expecting? Why did you not send a message?" And then, depending upon how they respond, you can go from there =) Post Reply

(Do onto others as you would have them do to you.) For the winks, I respond with something like, "Thank you for sending me a wink." If I am interested in the person, I will write a bit more. Otherwise, no. I've only gotten further response from one person..... and we are now dating. Post Reply

I recently sent a reply to a wink I received with a thanks for the wink, but we are not a good match. I got a sarcastic email in return. Oh well, so much for good manners. If it were me, I would rather get a short thanks but no thanks email to an unwanted wink. Post Reply
