Willing to RelocatePosted : 28 Aug, 2010 06:11 AMI'm surprised at how many profiles say that the guy is willing to relocate. |

Willing to RelocatePosted : 28 Aug, 2010 06:43 AMI have that marked because I move a lot and will continue to move a lot more for the foreseeable future, going to school and seeing new places so it's pretty up in the air as far as where I actually live goes and there really isn't anything I'll be leaving behind that I would actually miss because it's all been so temporary anyway. I've never really had any control over where I live and now that I do I don't have much of a sense of home, so now I embrace the phrase 'You can't go back home'. Portland? San Diego? Phoenix? Minneappolis? Boston? New York? Germany? Anywhere that sounds interesting? Sure why not? I've got the rest of my life to settle down and live in one place and once you do you're trapped and can't go back. |

Willing to RelocatePosted : 28 Aug, 2010 07:34 AMI've kinda been in the same boat, having moved a few times in my life. As well, I will be done with college in about nine months, and will go wherever the Lord leads me (and hopefully where there are jobs!). |

Willing to RelocatePosted : 28 Aug, 2010 09:16 AMWell I like moving. I'm not looking to relocate right now, as I still have to finish school, but there's nothing special about living in one place. Houses are just houses, and you can find Christian community anywhere. |

Willing to RelocatePosted : 28 Aug, 2010 10:43 AMYeah...I'd have to ask why someone would put "no way". Even if God leads you somewhere else? Just seems kinda "limiting" or something. |

Willing to RelocatePosted : 28 Aug, 2010 11:03 AMMaybe it would be better if they asked something like, "Are you interested in a long distance relationship?" Some people are open to that while others aren't. I'm in one right now and it's really, really, really difficult to not have the physical affection (especially since that is my love language)... But I'm very fond of him and we're looking to bridge the distance gap, which means that one of us will be relocating at some point probably. He's looking for a job out here right now. |

Willing to RelocatePosted : 28 Aug, 2010 11:55 AMI love moving, I was going to move in with my Aunt after my Uncle died, but that never came about, so I'd see it as no different than trying to be closer to someone I loved |

Willing to RelocatePosted : 28 Aug, 2010 04:00 PMRelocating when you're young makes sense, compared to when you're "older". (In my opinion, of course.) |

Willing to RelocatePosted : 28 Aug, 2010 06:37 PMWell, my love interest is in his 40s, so I'll just speak for him. He's a member of this site, but hasn't participated in the forums for a few weeks now. |

Willing to RelocatePosted : 28 Aug, 2010 08:22 PMWell, to be blunt honest, I don't have much here. I'm a loner and I can fail at finding a good church wherever I go. I don't have kids; my parents are in another state, and I have zero debt. So I can move wherever. I would like to stay in the South, though. |
