Admin	saying good bye Posted : 19 Jul, 2010 08:54 AM Wanted to take a moment to say farewells to all on the forum pages. I have had some thought provoking exchanges here and want to thank all those who participate so freely and openly with their thoughts and inspirations. After seriously debating and praying, my soul and heart are troubled by the ads here in particular the one targeting gay hook ups. I find I cannot continue to justify the presence of that with the idea that this is a free website and they have to pay for it some how. I posted this thread in Christian Morals but got more of this same type of justification for the reason why it should not upset me. However it does so I will say a heartfelt so long and wish you all the best. Dani Post Reply

I find your motives very noble and really admirable, however, I doubt that they come from the Lord. But I am not going to question or debate your motives, I am proposing a solution. Now in my opinon the solution to your problem is not a moral one but a financial one. The owners of this site, who are christians, need to put ads to keep this site free of charge for members. So if you want these filthy ads away from this site, then you should donate money to this site. In fact, I suggest that all members who have problems with the types of ads on this christian site, donate money to allow the christian owners of this site to be more selective with their ads! So: 1. this site can stay free of charge for its members, 2. the unworthy ads can be removed 3. AND MOST OF ALL: Precioius, nice and wonderful members like you can stay and share and testify on the forums for the benefit of many christians (to be). What do you think? DontHitThatMark View Profile History	saying good bye Posted : 20 Jul, 2010 08:57 AM I'm not sure how this website operates, but if they're using certain ad services then the ads are not faith targeted, they are content targeted. It's a dating site, so dating ads will come up, but like I said...I don't know what they use, I just know that some ad services are random content-based ads and not necessarily just christian ads. Obviously. Maybe we need an admin in here to explain it to us. :peace::peace: Post Reply
