Age limit email limitationsPosted : 12 Jul, 2010 09:33 AMYou guys are REALLY missing out! Do you realize that if you put age 45, I may be the love of your life but you can't hear from me if I'm 46?? Most men choose an age up to, their own? Some of us are more active and young at heart than many our junior. I've viewed several profiles today I would have messaged but "didn't make the cut"! You may want to at least change your mail settings to accommodate someone trying to reach out to you! |

Age limit email limitationsPosted : 12 Jul, 2010 09:15 PMDon't limit it? Worst case scenario you have to block some people, right? That's not too hard...in fact...some of them make it very easy:laugh:. |

Age limit email limitationsPosted : 13 Jul, 2010 03:21 AMIt seems I'm always the voice of opposition, but here goes. I think it's self-centered to want ppl to change their settings to accommodate what YOU want. It's a lot of twenty-somethings here that try to get me to be the Demi to their Ashton, and that couldn't be further from what I want. Should I change my settings so THEY can get an older woman since that's what THEY want? If I was still looking to be found, I would have 45-55 as my setting, cause that's what I want. It's my preference & right. |

Age limit email limitationsPosted : 13 Jul, 2010 08:17 AMBut you would eliminate someone as a possibility because they're one day/week/month/year below or above your age limit setting? Anyway...I'd just leave mine open, and just be polite and say "I'm not interested" to anyone that wasn't in or relatively close to my age range. Just because you leave it open doesn't mean you lose your right to your preference. |

Age limit email limitationsPosted : 13 Jul, 2010 08:45 AMTis true, Mark. I have my settings so that anybody can email me from the forums. When I had it set for 45-55, I did not want to be bothered having to tell every whipper snapper 'I don't think we are a good match'. The maturity I need is from life experience that even a wise young man can't have. I took my chances that I might miss a good guy who was 44 or 56. Ultimately, I let the Holy Spirit lead. God's will is mightier than age settings. If I'm outside of the age settings, then they are not for me. |

Age limit email limitationsPosted : 30 Jul, 2010 10:59 PMWell said. With the majority of evangelical christians not really walking the walk, our oppertunities to narrow. So why further narrow it with an age limit? Do what you want, it is after all your free will :) but Im to the point in my walk where I dont know what to ask God at times, cause eye has not seen nor ear has not heard what the Lord has prepared for those who love Him, and He has a future and an existing hope for me, and I dont really even know what it is. :D |
