It took me to 6 months to say "I love you" to her in any context. But I did care about her, a lot too. Obviously we didn't marry since I'm here; but that's how I feel about it. Lust, controlled and subdued by and to the Will of God, gives an appreciation of the person's character, and in time, turns into love. Post Reply

My experience has been that I "fell in love" at first sight when I was younger and as I grew older it took more and more. I think it's all about what expectations you have from your ideal gf.
