Posted : 4 May, 2010 06:26 AM Personally I can't stand it and it makes me upset...especially if she is crying because someone did her wrong. If she is crying because she is sad, it makes it hard to know exactly how to react because a part of me whats to comfort her and another part of me knows that sometimes a girl just needs some space....at least that's what I've learned from my four sisters. Posted : 4 May, 2010 01:50 PM OK, I know I'm butting in on this thread...I have a habit of ignoring whether it's "Ask a Guy" or "Ask a Girl." So pardon me, but I have something to say! I would do everything in my power to NOT cry in front of a guy. I'd hate to make him feel awkward, uncomfortable, or helpless. But if I was so upset that I couldn't help it, I would hope that he would just hug me and let me cry, and not necessarily try to understand or offer advice. Sometimes a strong shoulder to cry on is all a girl needs. If I want commiseration or advice, I know lots of girls who would gladly provide that. Hope that makes you guys feel better about not quite knowing how to handle a crying girl! Post Reply

They can't stop us! :laugh: I have a real emotional girlfriend. Everytime I see her about to start, (in a very dramatic way) I say Awww..man! Will you stop it! S. u. c. k. it up! Save that mess for when you go home! I don't want to be caught in yo desire to put me in these awkward moments in which I don't know what to say! (Or something like that). She usually laughs through her tears and she starts to talk about what's on her mind and I listen and ignore the tears. :laugh: It's too much! I'm not super emotional so I usually can't handle it and I just tell her to go find other friends who can take it. :dancingp: Post Reply

When I do cry, I'm usually alone and it's because I just plain get overwhelmed. The only outlet is to cry, then I continue on. Of course when I spend time with the Lord, the tears come but they are not tears of pain, the tears are from knowing that He loves me and that I'm not alone so...good tears ;) Riveroflife Post Reply

If I am crying...someone's dead or my car is totaled or ..well y'all get the picture. People that cry easily, man or woman, tend to make make me feel manipulated. Sorry just my 2cents. Post Reply

On the other hand ---- I have been crying in the Sprit at prayer meetings or in church in front of men and it didn't bother me - or them - a bit. I don't mind that kind of crying. Post Reply
