Posted : 27 Apr, 2010 02:13 PM i have heard men say this time and time again. most recently a family member of mine and i were having a conversation where he stated this. the long and short of it is this; she wants to spend more time with him, and he just want to do his own thing. i even asked him if their relationship was official, he said yes. after hearing some of his arguments, i went on to state how he seemed to have not switched gears into relationship mode, that he was still operating like a single man. he said kinda... then i told him i can't co-sign with him, cuz i would hate someone to do that to me. my question is why would you do that(make a girl believe that you are in an relationship when your still doing your own thing) and turn around and accuse the girl of not knowing what she wants? is this a case of the next best thing syndrome? nyanda:purpleangel: Post Reply

I think it's more of "I just want someone there when I feel like having them around". In other words he's being self-centered. At the moment he doesn't really want a relationship he just wants someone around that he can call on when he's bored of his other options. Post Reply
