What would you rather have?

Hello friends...

I was trying to think of an interesting topic so here goes...

Would you rather have:

an assertive confident christian woman or a quiet confident woman?

for example: would you rather her approach people on her own and minister or would you rather initiate and her follow your lead :)

Let's just say you can't have both, haha

just wondering

When you say assertive it makes me think that she would always be trying to take the lead, wanting me to follow her instead of the husband being the head of the household.

Not sure if that's what you meant so a little clarification can help me answer it better.

I like assertive but not aggressive. Yeah, she should be able to minister on her own. My late wife was like that and it was great! I didn't follow along behind her though. When we were together it was always a team effort. We didn't argue about who was in the lead either.

i don't really care if she's shy around other people or not. playing by your rules and picking one i guess i'd prefer if she was shy around others just cuz it's so stinkin' cute!

Shy girls don't really do it for me, so I'm gonna have to go with the assertive option

inhishonor, no i dont mean her leading :) I mean her having her ministry on her own, kinda. As well as with you.

Some women like to be lead by her husband at all times and do not go astray from it, she is right by his side. Her husband would rather her be his helpmate and not really have anything going on her own.

Then there are some women who will go and have her own ministry aside from their ministry together.

Not in a non=submissive way though. Of course with his encouragement.

Which man are you? Would you encourage her to have a ministry or would you rather her be your help mate solely?

Both are great, because women would gladly fit both positions, depending on their personality.

It's not a trick question, haha.

I am on meds for seizures. So, I am looking for a leader. if I have a freak seizure like the first in 23 years my future wife will have to be the bread winner.I will lose my drivers license, maybe? she has to know if my meds are making me sick, this requires her to be able to read me. I am looking for more than love.a leader. She has to be able to be the boss if required. Dennis

Okay, then I would go with assertive. It would be great if she had a ministry. She has every right to use her spiritual gifts by working in a ministry or leading her own ministry. If God leads her in that direction who am I to stand in the way.
