Why do many guys' eyes travel immediately to the chest area rather than a girl's face? Is there something that women can do to help guys focus on our faces rather than our bodies?

I really don't understand why most men are so obsessed with women's chests. It's really embarrassing for us girls! Or, at least for me! It makes me ashamed of my body, so I really wish that guys would just stop.

I'd say the majority of Christian guys don't inherently stare at a girl's chest. If you show a significant amount of cleavage, we might be distracted, but otherwise, probably not. As long as you aren't really showing much cleavage, you shouldn't worry.

I don't know why men like breast. I think it is something we are created with. As for why men are staring at your breast and it's covered, well idk that either. I would say if they do that and you are completly covered than they aren't very Godly if at all. Me personally I wont look, and if I see cleave than I bounce my eyes away, or turn and flee.

As for cleavge, a little goes along way, there is no showing a little cleavge, clothes shift, and drop with gravity. Most men are at a higher vantage point, well cause we are normally taller. It's best not to show any. Than we can focus on Christ. Besides why show something only your husband should see?

I would have to say

that the majority of men are going to look. Reason being that the majority have not matured yet. I personally think it is very rude and impolite.

Why is it that some men (quite a few) do stare?

I believe that it has something to do with being breast-fed and not being weaned off of the bottle soon enough and of course lack of maturity.

I feel for you Pixie and I will say a prayer for you.

As for those men...?

I don't know....doesn't mean all men are perverts. I started realizing awhile ago that a lot of women look at "muscles" like men look at "curves". The only solution I've found is...if you want fewer people to look at something...show less of it. It's always confused me that some women complain about people staring at them when half their body is hanging out. It's like...ORANGE ZEBRA! PURPLE ELEPHANT! Now don't think about either of those things:goofball:. It's possible to stop thinking about them...but EVERYONE thinks about it for at least a second. However...there are just a lot of people out there that ARE perverts and nothing you do will ever make them stop looking. You could wear traditional Muslim garb and their imaginations would still take over. You can't control them and you are not responsible for them. All you can do is control yourself and be responsible for yourself. Hopefully by doing that we can set an example and be an influence for good by the way we live our own lives. We just have to be modest and we have done all that is required of us. And don't be "modest" to try and keep other people from sinning...because it will never...ever...work like that. Be modest because you need to fight your own pride, not because you don't want people to have naughty thoughts. I mean...I know exactly why I would want a tattoo...I know exactly why I want to wear sleeveless shirts...I know exactly why I would want to have earrings, or wear various manly necklaces. Why? Because "I" want to make myself look "cool"..."showoff"...make myself "attractive" and focus on the "outward" appearance like humans do so well. Vain attempts at being prideful...which is completely pointless and wrong for a Christian to be doing. I think it falls under the "pride of life" type of sin, which causes the "lust of the eyes" to manifest itself in other people...because if we were to succeed in looking overly "cool/attractive/sexy"...people would covet "us", what we have, or what we were born with. I'm pretty sure that much is obvious when you watch TV. It's all about what other people have and what you don't have. Anyway...I'm done ranting. Try to be like Jesus. Shutting up now...

Girls are breast-fed too:rolleyes::goofball:. That doesn't make much sense. I think men and women are usually attracted to what they "don't have". The mystery and curiosity turn it into...whatever it turns into...:dancingp:

The words indicated in Bold are censored from the CDFF Forum:

Pro 5:18 Let your wife be a fountain of blessing for you. Rejoice in the wife of your youth. Pro 5:19 She is a loving doe, a graceful deer. Let her bossom satisfy you always. May you always be captivated by her love. Pro 5:20 Why be captivated, my son, with an immoral woman, or embrace the bossom of an adulterous woman?

Seems like alot of trouble for milk lol

Yes, I get that too.

Covering up and being modest helps a lot, but doesn't stop it.

Remember: many men came to the Lord later in life, or even - say - in their mid-20's. They had a lot of years of looking at chests when they didn't consider it wrong or too forward. So, the habit is there. And we all know how hard it is to break habits.
