Dear Ms. Right: A message from the Lord

This I think you will like, of course I did not come up with it, but it has drastically changed my life. The source will be at the bottom

Everyone longs to give themselves completely to someone

to have a deep soul relationship with another

to be loved thoroughly and exclusively.

But God, to a Christian says:

"No, not until you are satisfied, fulfilled

and content with being loved by Me alone --

with giving yourself totally and unreservedly to me --

with having an intensely personal and unique

relationship with Me alone.

Discovering that only in Me is your satisfaction to be found,

will you be capable of the perfect human

relationship that I have planned for you.

You will never be united with another,

until you are united with Me --

exclusive of anyone or anything else,

exclusive of any other desires or longings.

I want you to stop planning,

stop wishing,

and allow Me to give you the most thrilling plan existing --

one that you cannot imagine.

I want you to have the best.

Please allow Me to bring it to you.

You just keep watching Me, expecting the greatest things --

keep experiencing the satisfaction that I am.

Keep listening and learning the things I tell you.

You just wait.

That's all.

"Don't be anxious.

Don't worry.

Don't look around at the things others

have gotten or that I have given them.

Don't look at the things you think you want.

You just keep looking off and away up to Me,

or you'll miss what I want to show you.

"And then, when you're ready,

I'll surprise you with a love far more

wonderful than any you would dream of.

You see, until you're ready and

until the one I have for you is ready,

until you are both satisfied exclusively with Me

and the life I prepared for you,

you won't be able to experience the love that

exemplifies your relationship with Me,

and this is the perfect love.

"And dear one,

I want you to have this most wonderful love,

I want you to see in the flesh a picture

of your relationship with Me,

and to enjoy materially and concretely

the everlasting union of beauty, perfection, and love

that I offer you with Myself.

Know that I love you utterly.

I am God.

Believe it and be satisfied."

I totally disagree that I have to have a completely fulfilling relationship with Jesus before I can have a relationship with a woman. If this were the case then I'd have to wait until I was in Heaven and then I wouldn't be able to be married. What is with the idea that it's ok that I don't have to be perfect when it comes to God's love for me but I have to have a perfect relationship with Him before I can have a relationship with a woman? It's absurd. I wonder what people are thinking when they write things like this? The whole idea is more humanistic than it is Biblical.

Thunder, beloved of the most High God

I see and hear your points, and you make some good ones, sir. So let's investigate and see if this lines up with the Word of God, or is merley Humanistic

I suppose we can investigate your first point:

"I totally disagree that I have to have a completely fulfilling relationship with Jesus before I can have a relationship with a woman."

The writer of the letter said "No, not until you are satisfied, fulfilled and content with being loved by Me alone --with giving yourself totally and unreservedly to me

Can we be satisfied, content, fulfilled apart from God

Of all the men in the bible Solomon was probably the most lavish. He had everything a perosn could want in this world which is spelled out in Ecclessiates 2:1-11. He said "Anything I wanted I would take. I denied myself no pleasure" but later in the passage he states "it was all so meaningless-like chasing the wind...". In Eccl 2:25 it says "Who cat eat or enjoy anything apart from Him? 26 God gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy to those who please him. But if a sinner becomes wealthy, God takes the wealth away and gives it to those who please him. Paul said in his letter to the Philipians "...I have learned to be content with watever I have....For I can do everthing through Christ who gives me strength." Phil 4:11-13

If it is only in Christ we can be content, than no one else will be able to satisfy us like He can. We are made perfect, or complete by being united with Christ wether we are single or married. If we are not, and we seek satisfaction from another we will come up short Roman 3:12 says "...no one is good, not a single one"

Point 2: "What is with the idea that it's ok that I don't have to be perfect when it comes to God's love for me but I have to have a perfect relationship with Him before I can have a relationship with a woman"

We couldn't come into a right relationship without God, nor can we bare fruit of the spirit with out God (Galatians 5:22,23 and John 15:1-17), and it will be through God that I will be able to obey His commandment and love my wife as Christ loves the church (Ephisians 5:25) and if we obey Gods commandments we remain in Gods love.

As for who you CHOOSE to get into a relationship, that's entirley up to you. As for me, I want a wife As described in Proverbs 18:22, 19:14, 12:4 31:10-17 which can all be linked together. I would like to emphasise the phrase "favor from the Lord" Proverbs 18:22. Of cource I would like favor from the Lord, and I found out how. Proverbs 3:3,4 tell me I recieve favor form the Lord, by never letting loyalty and kindness leave me. When I read the footnotes in my bible for verse 3 it says "Loyalty and kindness reflect the intimate and wolehearted commitment of God's covenant relationship with His people". Once again it appears that wife(especialy one described in Proverbs)=favor=relationship with God.

I can go on and on, but its getting late and I am running out of gas, so please friend investigate for yourself. :)

Hey Rabbit, I have come 2 understand that we should be striving 2 b complete in Him. I don't think we have 2 b perfect. Letting Him heal us from the wounds of the past, seeking His face and putting Him first so we are fit and in position 2 receive a spouse from Him. If our ways please Him, he gives us the desires of our heart. I like the quote, it can put people on a good path of thinking of working on yourself, which is the most important thing as we work out our own salvation.

"I want you to stop planning, stop wishing, and allow Me to give you the most thrilling plan existing -- one that you cannot imagine."

I think this is the hardest part - to stop wishing for something that you have been wishing for practically your whole life! But I know that God's plan is better than anything I could ever "wish" for myself.

Sisters in Christ

Some very good feedback

We are made perfect in Him. The word perfect as I hace come to understand it essentially means complete. It is written: He is the author and finisher of our faith, also in God's word we are basically to be transformed into the likeness of Christ. Hopefully all who are blood bought will be like Him. There is a point we reach in out groth where we are spirtually mature, and I think it is at that point we have the best chances of having a good marriage.

It is very hard to not want to be in a relationship, Lord knows I fail at this, especially after being in a relationship for so long. Jerimiah 29:11 says I know the thoughts I have for you. Thoughts of good and not evil, to provide a hope and a future" "Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your hearts desires. Psalms 37:4

May God bless you richly, in Jesus's name

Well...I've said this before I think....but the bible says that if you really want to serve God as much as possible you shouldn't get married. I suppose I know what the author was getting at, but he used some strong words. Now that I'm in a relationship I can see the things that are bringing us together and I'm pretty sure it's God's hand...but there is no way I'm in a perfect relationship with God...and there's no way I wasn't looking for someone to share my life with...

32 But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord: 33 But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife. 34 There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband. 35 And this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction.

36 But if any man think that he behaveth himself uncomely toward his virgin, if she pass the flower of her age, and need so require, let him do what he will, he sinneth not: let them marry. 37 Nevertheless he that standeth stedfast in his heart, having no necessity, but hath power over his own will, and hath so decreed in his heart that he will keep his virgin, doeth well. 38 So then he that giveth her in marriage doeth well; but he that giveth her not in marriage doeth better.

I agree... to be fulfilled in Him is the most important thing that this life and the one here after has to offer. We can never truely be satisfied in any other if we can't first be satisfied w/ in ourselves and that is where Christ lives... as far as the stop wishing, stop wanting, I disagree. We are all literally CHILDREN to the most high God... we are made in His image.. he desires, we desire... marriage is not something that man made up for our enjoyment to do what we will with, it is the perfect plan of the Great I Am. In the beginning there was man and God said it was not good for him to be alone so He created woman... it's written in our hearts to long to have that union with a spouse to share in God love with, to grow in God's love with, to experience God's love with... as a mother I long to give my children what they desire, how am I any different from that which created me? As a divorced woman, I longed in marriage to experience that perfectly created union between man, woman, and God being the center, the life, the source of that love. Who are we to explain God's will in our lives? God answers prayers whether it be our darkest hour or it be the time in which His glorious grace shines down on us... we have little comprehension of His works, His ways... sometimes the one destined for us comes when we are fallen flat on our face, sometimes it comes when we are closest to God... that's not for us to decide... not in the least bit... having relationship with the Father is letting Him guide our steps, trusting, fellowshiping, humbling, serving... I don't believe that I must do this in order to find my spouse... I long for many things, a spouse is only one of them... I believe God will answer that prayer when He chooses and I trust that judgement more than I can trust my own... how am I to find a blessing without ever looking?
