Posted : 13 Feb, 2010 11:14 AM Rather than "Ask a Guy" I'd like to "Encourage a Guy" so ladies, will you join with me to say a word of blessing to the gentleman on this site . . . On this Valentine's Day (or day before, technically), I want to remind each one of you that you are made in the image of God and you are very unique! God made YOU for a specific purpose! He has created and designed you to be the man that you are. He as given you gifts and talents and nobody is like you! So on this day as we celebrate the gift of love, remember, it is Jesus Christ who has first loved us. You may be single, but you are never alone! You are loved. You are cared for. You are appreciated. May God grant you a special surprise of Love this Valentine's Day - whether that be a special lady or just a renewing of your soul by receiving the love that Christ has for you. I would like to leave you with a verse and some song lyrics: "Love is patient, love in kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails." (1 Corinthians 13:4-8a). Three in the morning, And I'm still awake, So I picked up a pen and a page, And I started writing, Just what I'd say, If we were face to face, I'd tell you just what you mean to me, I'd tell you these simple truths, Be strong in the LORD and, Never give up hope, You're going to do great things, I already know, God's got His hand on you so, Don't live life in fear, Forgive and forget, But don't forget why you're here, Take your time and pray, These are the words I would say, Last time we spoke, You said you were hurting, And I felt your pain in my heart, I want to tell you, That I keep on praying, Love will find you where you are, I know cause I've already been there, So please hear these simple truths, Be strong in the LORD and, Never give up hope, You're going to do great things, I already know, God's got His hand on you so, Don't live life in fear, Forgive and forget, But don't forget why you're here, Take your time and pray, These are the words I would say, From one simple life to another, I will say, Come find peace in the Father, Be strong in the LORD and, Never give up hope, You're going to do great things, I already know, God's got His hand on you so, Don't live life in fear, Forgive and forget, But don't forget why you're here, Take your time and pray, Thank God for each day, His love will find a way, These are the words I would say (Sidewalk Prophets) Post Reply
