GraceMae View Profile History	Why no profile content? Posted : 9 Feb, 2010 08:23 PM OK, some women might do this this as well as men, but I want to ask the men.... What are some of the reasons you don't include any input in your profile? There are only 3 sections... - Interests, About Me, and First Date- I can understand maybe leaving blank the First Date section, but why the others? What will make the woman want to be interested in you? No photos, with profile content, I might understand. Perhaps maybe you're prominent, or too high visibility to put your picture out publicly, but no picture and no profile content? What should the ladies presume here? Then, there's the profiles with photo, and nothing else. And of course no posting on the forums either? Should we just go for your looks, and then ask you? The forums at least give us an idea of your perspective on how you view a variety of topics, but when there is nothing of value added by you, how should women respond? ~ GraceMae Post Reply
View Profile History	Why no profile content? Posted : 9 Feb, 2010 09:29 PM LOL.... Gracie... being that I am obviously one of the guilty party you described...I will only speak for MY reason for now. First...as you may or may not recall, I did have a profile up for awhile with a few pics as well as reasonably well thought out profile writing. In my case... I actually closed my account for a bit. I just got tired of internet dating altogether. And honestly, I'm still tired of it. I have no desire to do it anymore. I don't wish to douse out anybody else's fire or desire to use this method as a way to meet somebody. But as for me..... Stick a fork in me... I'm done. The reasons are myriad. Desire just walked on... and that's all. I signed back up though because I felt that I could at least make a small contribution in the forums to certain questions that people might have regarding issues of love....or maybe trying to 'understand the other side'... I was blessed enough in my life to have experienced certain things that others might have not, and have been known to help a few people overcome certain things in the past to get them what they want. So that's why I'm back for now. I may decide later to put things back up. But for now... it's just simple case of "I'm too lazy to do it..." Besides... people can post ANYTHING in their writing... but it will never convey who they REALLY ARE in real life. I've certainly struggled in my profile writings to convey any 'essence' of who I really am, how or what I've lived in my life. Desire has also walked on to even pretend that I can convey that in something like a dating site profile. Can't be done... So that's MY story... and I'm stickin' to it... blessings... Post Reply

View Profile History	Why no profile content? Posted : 10 Feb, 2010 09:29 AM I change my pics on a regular basis.I am currently adding a pic about every 3 weeks and removing 1. After Chritmas I did change my profile and update it some.I like to change things every so often.The way it is now I have got a lot of viewers but few bite. Also, could be because they are half-heartedly doing this. I notice alot of people go on a dating site right after a breakup, and aren't too serious about things. Post Reply
