Whadya guys think about the provocative ads on this Christian website?Posted : 6 Feb, 2010 11:44 PMI especially find the banner ad with the blonde in the white shirt intriguing. I don't mean to be an old fuddy duddy but it seems to me that those kinds of ads aren't necessarily Christian-friendly. Is it just me or is anyone else bothered by them? |

Whadya guys think about the provocative ads on this Christian website?Posted : 7 Feb, 2010 10:37 AMyeah, I usually ignore the ads, but sometimes I do notice some on here that I wouldn't approve of. But I realize that this is a business - hopefully the operators are truly Christian - but how do we know for sure if we don't know them? Either way, I try to ignore stuff that is sketchy and just let God use this website as a tool to help me meet godly men. |

Whadya guys think about the provocative ads on this Christian website?Posted : 11 Feb, 2010 06:52 PMI actually wasn't aware of those ads whatsoever...I visit this site on my Droid, or with Firefox and I have this thing called "Adblock Plus" its a plug in for Firefox that blocks 97% of ads on sites that I visit. |

Whadya guys think about the provocative ads on this Christian website?Posted : 12 Feb, 2010 08:04 PMI've noticed some of the ads, but the first off-kilter thing that caught my eye was some of the little icons you can select to use in your text. |

Whadya guys think about the provocative ads on this Christian website?Posted : 22 Feb, 2010 06:12 AMHey Gern, yup i think it's something we could do without, and it certainly would be a consideration on weather i stayed at a site or not, I would be happy to see other ad's as I understand revenue is needed, but such advertising is out of place in such a forum as this, I also agree with the sister's comment on the emote's. |
