heeey guys!Posted : 6 Feb, 2010 07:09 AMI don't think it matters one way or the other, some guys would remain single for life if they didn't have the women push for a relationship. |

heeey guys!Posted : 6 Feb, 2010 07:55 AMplus if a guy feels less manly because of that is he really a man? Sometimes it's fun to be playfully challenged and she forces you to say "Now look here missy..." :goofball: |

heeey guys!Posted : 6 Feb, 2010 08:45 AMWell...I never understood the "hunter" mentality men are supposed to have...probably because I'm a vegetarian, but it just sounds like something straight from the evolutionary theory...like men are supposed to be some kind of blood-lusting cavemen instead of the gardeners God created them to be. Anyway, there are a lot of traditions that humanity has picked up that are completely unnecessary and...sad...if you think about them...and I don't think a girl asking a guy out is a horrible thing. I know guys are supposed to have this thing about running a girl down and pouncing on her until she gives in...but every time I notice...the girl is, more often then not, the one expressing interest in the first place. Whether its a look, or the way they talk, or body language, or laughter...a guy usually gets some kind of hint that you're interested...why not a question? If you feel bad about it, ask him out and let him pay for everything . But really, if you drop some hints...he'll probably ask you out anyway. If he misses or ignores the hints...you might want to think about how much you really want to go out with him. Anyway...I don't think the bible ever said "Thou shalt not ask a guy out". Just don't be too aggressive...that goes for everybody... |

heeey guys!Posted : 6 Feb, 2010 01:08 PMI have no problem with a guy asking a girl out or a girl asking a guy out. The problem I have with this issue is that it seems to me in a world where more and more women are pushing for "equal" rights (which I think they deserve), that when it comes to dating and making first moves "all" women are "old fashioned"!?!? How come women get to to go from one side of their arguement to the other? It seems to me that if you want to go out with someone, ask!! I guess I just don't understand the arguement of being old fashioned only when it applies to dating. Just my thoughts... |

heeey guys!Posted : 6 Feb, 2010 11:00 PMWhen it comes to flirting or picking up on the subtle hints that women use to let men know that theyre interested, Im blind as a bat. It helps when they come right out and tell me or actually ask me out. |

heeey guys!Posted : 6 Feb, 2010 11:05 PMWell....I'm pretty sure a girl can ask a guy out without him losing any body parts...but since you can see the future of these 2 apparently solitary scenarios...I'll leave you to it. I just don't think there's much biblical foundation to the "girls should sit and wait for a aggressive caveman to pounce on them" scenario that I assume you're presenting. Personally, I think there are two extremes...a super aggressive dude, and a super aggressive girl...both are extreme, but there's a cool little place I like to call "The Middle", where everything is awesome and no one feels kicked around. |
