Spend a lot of time in front of mirrors and in their daily routines of maintaining their bodies. Not to mention beauty parlors and salons and clinics. Why? Because we men have instilled in them that we desire them that way. Please do not misunderstand me. I see nothing wrong with a woman wanting to look as nice as she can. It is just that when you place so much emphasis on beauty and then Drill that into the minds of young boys (and girls) whom already are having difficulties dealing with their own sexuality and self-worth � you embed the notion that This Is The Way Women should look and be. There was a time in our history that the ideal woman was plumper and rounder. Artists sought them and women wanted to be like them. But, to answer your question: You actually have two questions. One is �What makes a girl attractive� and �Is it just about looks now?� As you go through your day, try to notice the things that �you notice�. Why is it that you look at something or someone? The one reason I want to discuss is Visual. Your eyes will see something that catches your attention; a flower, a car, a dress or a pair of shoes. Those things that draw your eyes to it and capture your attention is what you call �Looks�. It is the appearance of something or someone�s looks that gets your attention, BUT it is Attraction that will keep your �eyes� and your �attention� on them. So to answer your question �Yes, to some whom are shallow and have the attention span of a ripe tomato � it is just about looks�. These types don�t concern themselves with attraction � the �attraction� is the looks. If they marry for this reason � when those �looks� fade � they will soon be gone. To those that truly have Jesus in their Hearts � �looks� could be anything of that person that gets their attention. It could be a laugh or a smile or the way they show love to everyone or many more reasons other than physical appearance. This type of attention and subsequent attraction will grow and grow and grow until it blossoms into �Profound Love�. As to �What makes a girl attractive?� There are dozens and dozens of things that people find attractive about another person. It is an individual thing. I believe I would be hard pressed to find a woman that did not have some attractive characteristics or qualities. That is a problem for some men (especially the young ones) because there are so many different types of wonderful women � that they become like children in a candy shop. Bt the # 1 all time attribute a woman must have is...wait, do you really not know this? it is too easy. It's in the Bible Eph 5:33, "hsbands love your wives and wives RESPECT yor husband. Look at it this way, Jesus died for us even though we do not deserve it. Most parents love their children, even when they do not deserve it. Respect to a man is what love is to a woman. many wives mistakenly demand their men earn their respect and then wonder why they are not loved. With the measure you judge another, that is how you will be judged. And the measue yo give will be given unto you. For it is called giving and recieving in marriage. Dave not a slave Post Reply

However, they alone are not enough. There are certain others things which attract me, particularly ladies who are comfortable with their femininity and have a gentle spirit. But what underpins this is that what people find attractive is purely a matter of personal preference, and all i've really done is told you mine :glow: Post Reply

If he likes what he sees, its possible that he will attempt to make some sort of contact with the girl. Now here is the good news. Its been said before, but not every guy finds the same girl attractive. For example, I think Vera Farmiga is beautiful. One of my friends thinks otherwise. Its what makes everyone unique. Post Reply

A woman can have their life together on the outside and be difficult on the inside. Proverbs says, beauty is fleeting and charm is deceptive, but a woman who loves the Lord is to be praised. We would like a pretty gal, but at the same time beauty is more than skin deep, Ugliness of the inner person shows on the outside regardless of how a person looks. Great question, David Post Reply
