Please take a look at my profile and give me constructive criticism. I love to observe people and the way they perceive me. The first step in dating on here is solely advertisement. Let's face it, if you don't have an interesting profile picture, you're probably not even going to hook someone to take time to read your profile. Guys, please be honest. I can handle it. I do understand my body type does not appeal to some but I have been with some who find me extremely sexy so I do understand there are different body preferences, that's a given. View Profile History	What do YOU think? Posted : 30 Oct, 2009 03:08 PM Me too, Lisa. Have you ever seen things look so promising with a man and then all of a sudden, BAM. I have wondered how much is it that God is divinely slamming the doors and if I shouldn't even fool with being on a dating site in the first place or if my advertising is off. That is why I put this post up, making myself vulnerable to the scrutiny of some of the men here. I am wondering if there is some major flaws in my profile or if God is just refusing to allow a door to open. If that is the case, I will just delete my profile altogether. I have seen that men have already viewed this posting yet they still won't respond. Interesting. I was trying to find out how to just delete this posting altogether but I don't think I can. I mean Terriers are cute and they may think they are Great Danes but...a Great Dane is a Great Dane! Seriously I see nothing wrong with your profile -- you are refreshingly honest and to the point. Men are visually stimulated and I will say that real s-l-o-w for any men that are reading this. This means that your picture has to "grab" them and forget about any "real" redeeming qualities you may have. Also you are a strong confidant woman which scares off many men. View Profile History	What do YOU think? Posted : 1 Nov, 2009 09:22 AM You know what I find ironic? No matter how large a man is, he still acts like he is the perfect catch. Women will still flock to a man who is fat if he has a great personality. I have seen men who have huge guts have a pretty, svelte woman on their arms because I think that's where our sexes differ, women actually look past the superficiality of the outside trappings and really want to seek a man of strong faith and character. So basically what I am getting from these responses is that being here, as a woman, is nothing more than a meat market where men are primarily only interested in looks and body, and character is last, if at all. Wow. I sort of suspected that but to see that it is a reality leaves little credit to your sex. How sad. If this is the case then I am wasting my time and I would prefer to stay single. I was already discouraged from reading so many male profiles where I find very few men are really sold out to the Lord anyhow. But to think that even of those few, that I am to be sought out solely based on looks (because after all, if you are so visually oriented, then like one of you already basically said, if a woman isn't hot then a man won't even take a look at her profile nor appreciate her real qualities) then I am wasting my time fooling with a dating site at all. I don't know, for some reason I thought there was more depth to Christian men then worldly men. Very sad to see I have been mistaken. Thanks for the input. Post Reply

I don't know, I just thought Christ changes people's focus on to what is "really" important in life and I expected more out of Christian men. Post Reply
