Do women have handbooks?  I was told by one she was giving me one on how to handle her, meaning how I need to act to be with her. I reserve sarcasm here 🙄. I didn't think any lady had handbooks and have a few thoughts and would like opinions. I think she meant it was a nice gesture and i appreciate it, but then again...? Here's my thoughts: She likes me and is telling me she wants me to be the one because she has, but also said she won't change Which means i have to acquiesce when she keeps telling me I could be "the one" but i need to change? By giving me a "guide" is she telling me how its gonna be and i  have to go by her book, meaning she's controlling? She's a conceited flake All the above Post Reply

AI or not, sounds like you’re flying into a spiders web. If she’s real, she’s obviously using “The Eve’s Curse Handbook”. Ultimately, her desire will be to control her husband. Men must be gentle with their wives and not be harsh with them. Colossians 3:19 NIV, Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them. LittleDavid, people often site those verses you mentioned, but more often forget Titus 2:4. "Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children." Post Reply

I encouraged her to move away from me and gseek ounseling from an older Christian woman and read Proverbs 31. She didn't want me to go, but kept telling me i couldnt do the same things she was doing with others in a chat. She was gonna do what she wanted, so it was control. I even tried appealing in a deeper sense. Unreal. It's no wonder her fiancé ran when the wedding plans were about to ramp up. I do have feelings for her, she is not a bad person, just bad for me. Then I sent her money to come to the U.S., but she never came. Then after a couple years, I was cutting off the correspondence, but she did not want to let go, and she lied to keep me investing in her. She was a costly mistake. The good in the evil is I have a couple kids. The kids were a good gift from God. But the woman was like me leaving the Garden of Eden or for Samson getting his eyes plucked out. Such is life! You were wise to get out. You saw things clearly and got out. Trouble for those who stay in after wisdom tells you "Get out!" Post Reply
