Honesty in advertising (lol, but important)

The preceeding is an email I sent to a lovely sister here. Prior to this email she had told me that I did not meet her requirement or "preferences" as she put it. My point is that I think being candid is a part of being honest and considerate.

You said

"...lot more of my preferrences that's what i mean & nope I won't give you the list LOL." I would actually like to see that list if you would not mind.

You also said

I have some sensitivity for other people in that sense, otherwise I would have mentioned everything in my profile.

What I have to say about your second statement is that you should not be so concerned about what people think. There are good reasons why you I think you should put that list on your profile.

First, it is a matter of honesty. It also prevents men from wasting men's time if they do not meet your requirements - and it also helps to prevent your time from being wasted. So there is every reason why you should be open, honest and specific about what it is you want.

Also, according to the word of God > while we are supposed to be considerate of others we are not supposed to be "pleasers of men".

Also men are not that sensitive and they do need to know what it is you want. If you have all sorts of carnal requirements the man is likely to think you are a picky, carnal or materialistic woman - or all of the forementioned. Perhaps you understand they will think so - and may be that is also a part of the reason you do not list your preferences.

ok i admit that has me lost I think we are missing some part of the puzzle. Or maybe its too early in the day for me to think. I read your profile and it gave me a clue but not much.

I will say that we should all be honest and open with those we chose to talk with. Personaly I find lies disturbing even small white lies as people call them.

Good luck with the answer you seek

God Bless

The point is that everyone should say what it is they are looking for, particularly in a case like this one where the lady says she is picky.

It is a matter of honesty. It also helps eliminates wasting everyone's time and causing other problems due to misunderstandings.
