I usually tell the person that I admire their profile and would like to get to know them if possible. And then... nothing. Not even a "sorry I don't think we'd make a good match". I understand your frustration too. I personally believe that it's just common courtesy to respond to an email received (as long as it wasn't a crude one) even if it's to say" thank you but we're not a match." It saddens me when people on here say that they are CHRISTians yet they are soooo rude to their fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. If someone has taken the time to read your profile and send you a note then the polite and Godly thing to do is respond, not ignore... treat others as you would want to be treated! Remember, those people you 'ignore' may not mean anything in your eyes, but in God's eyes they are �everything�, and He sees the way we treat others so it doesn't go unnoticed. We guys really don't like reading and digesting. We just have a thing for making decisions based on sight first then personality. Not that there's anything wrong with the written portion. When we belong to Jesus, our life is in His hands, and we can trust Him to know what is best for us, who needs to be in our life and who doesnt. Thank Him for his guiding hand and protection, and always, always give Him thanks. For He is the Author and Finisher of our faith.
