TO LADIES How to handle requests for personal informationPosted : 19 Sep, 2009 12:28 PMOf course you should never give it out until you feel comfortable, but keep in mind most men do not think they need a long time to determine whether or not they like you - and in a lot of cases they will be offended if you make them wait too long. There are some good reasons why that is so. |

TO LADIES How to handle requests for personal informationPosted : 19 Sep, 2009 05:32 PMIn a perfect world i understand where you're coming from wondering what the big deal is and thinking you deserve better than to be ignored, but on here it's just the nature of the beast. I like having the option to ignore a girl if i don't want to talk to her and not have to explain why. Turn around is fairplay. |

TO LADIES How to handle requests for personal informationPosted : 21 Sep, 2009 04:38 AMHmm..interestingly enough, I've had at least 3 numbers given to me on the second or third contact. Despite the fact that the profile mentions I'm not in the states. Despite the fact that I mention I'm looking for someone to write E-mails to. Despite the fact that 100% of the ladies have had some portion of their profile that said "Absolutely no X, ONLY Y!!" and I've been X every time. |

TO LADIES How to handle requests for personal informationPosted : 21 Sep, 2009 05:37 AMTaxMan, I know exactly what you mean. I'm X alot, too and I still get people looking for Y. I want to write back and say, did you even READ my profile? Lol Also, I've clearly stated in my profile "my IM doesn't work," but I think this is similar to putting a "Wet Paint" sign on a bench. People instinctively have to test it out. :) |
