Admin	It's difficult to find a guy on this site Posted : 30 Aug, 2009 06:45 PM I don't know why it is so difficult to find someone on this site. I figured it would be easier on a Christian website but in reality, it's not that much different. Guys are just as superficial here as they are on any other site and in the world. We all want someone who is attractive. That's our human nature. Well, best of luck to all of you who are searching. I hope you find who your looking for.:) Post Reply

However, make sure you bridge the difference between who YOU find attractive and who the world as a whole finds attractive. For instance there may be a time when I walk down the road and see A woman who I personally don't find very attractive. However, this woman has a husband. I rest assured knowing that even while I don't think she is attractive - her husband probably thinks she is the most beautiful lady he's laid his eyes upon. Me personally, I can care less what the world thinks about the lady whom I would be with appearance wise. Though in the same way it is important that I find her highly attractive. Good luck! I do not like bikini babes or the supermodel type, I like the girl next door type. It's all in how you see things I guess. The reason is that I see un-attractive people from both sexes with pretty attractive people holding hands or eating out together on a every day basis. I myself was in love with at least two unattractive ladies, yet if they were attracted to me I wouldn’t have think twice to marry them. Remember, to generalize is not wise. I think as you grow older and maturing in your Christ walk, things that attract you to the opposite sex changes. Unfortunately some christians thinks that maturing in Christ means you have lower your bar when it comes to girls/guys with kids or family issues. Christy Post Reply

The reason I joined this site is because a friend of mine met her new husband on here. They are so cute together, they crack me up. I've talked to a few on here, and most seem sincere enough. Of couse you get the occassional scammer, but you get those everywhere. Hang in there, when the time is right, He will show you the way. God Bless--shelly Post Reply

Ok, so my last girlfriend lives in Austria, I really thought it was going to work, but it is true, distance can greatly effect relationships. Is it hard for a woman to give up everything, move to another country, or even far from her family? I know little or nothing, so Im not saying it cant work, but from what I have seen, a female is more apt to desire to live closer to her folks. Everyone on this site, is so dispersed, this site goes by age groupings for "my matches" rather than location, personality ect.. I have started using the advanced search, to atleast find women in the same state or closer to home. I will meet someone in God's timing, I work on becoming the man God wants me to be, and He will introduce me to the woman He has for me in His timing. I will settle for nothing less. I will know it when she comes along, and steals my heart. Post Reply

At the risk of sounding superficial myself, I won't discount that entirely just because it's a Christian site. Having said that, I don't think it should be the single or even the top quality we look for. The distinct advantage of being here is that we can connect with others who share our Christian beliefs and values. That is something you will not find just anywhere. Post Reply
