How will you know when you have found the right one for you? and please don't say you will just know. because since most of us have made that mistake once in our lives we cant always trust our gut or heart.. so how will you know when you have found the one for you? I haven't met my eve yet. and i've tried real hard to be adam, but these days with a ton of people on this planet, you just have to have standards and look for someone who lives up to them, and be the right person for them as well.true love is time tested and proves itself. you can always jump in, hurry up and make a mistake. I've sure done it enough. But God is God, we are not, his view is much better then ours. If I don't have peace about a relationship, poof. im gone. Post Reply

Posted : 28 Aug, 2009 08:21 PM i think i would know he's the one for me: (1) when he prays more for me than himself (2) when he goes the extra mile and makes sacrifices to make me/us happy (3) when he shows his love for me in small ways (letters, flowers, poems, write a song, sings to me, massages, makes me dinner, pulls pranks, makes me laugh hard, little gifts, lots of hugs and i love yous for no reason, etc.) (4) when he'll do anything, risk anything to protect and care for me though i am not his responsibility as of yet (5) when he talks and treats me like his best friend in the world (6) when he looks into my eyes, and i can picture us together for a lifetime (7) when his walk with Christ is an everyday thing and not a Sunday thing (8) when he shows his strengths, but not prideful or arrogant (9) when he shows his weaknesses, but secure with himself than it does not make him less of man (10) (aside from God) when i'm the last person he thinks about before going to bed and first thing in the morning (and i do the same for him) there's probably more, but this will do for now, lol. Posted : 29 Aug, 2009 05:05 PM At least for me, I think a huge clue would be if there was not just a mutual attraction, but I could have respect for him and the words that come out of his mouth and the things he does. I know nobody is perfect by a long shot, but I think it's important to feel that I could trust his judgment more often than not instead of feeling like I need to argue or stand up for myself. Somebody I could talk to and feel like I'm learning, too. There are some men with good moral values, but who will not stand up for them to other people. I would want a man I felt I could stand beside and support while he stood up for the both of us. Post Reply

So I asked some friends who have been married for 40 plus years. They told me that it took alot of prayer and spending time together for them to realize they are the one . We all want '' The One'' to come into our lives. I know I do. I have also know people that have told me that the moment that they saw each other, The Spirit, put a uniqueness and a curisity about each other that they never felt before. I hope this helps.
