Posted : 4 Aug, 2009 04:49 PM ok guys.... give me a step by step i am interested in a guy from my church. i gave him a hug last sunday ( not unusual... im a huggy person) though i have never hugged him before. we worked together with the band. he is what my daughter and i prayed for right down to the blue eyes ( not important) and he is an off the hook professional guitar player. he warmed to me after i hugged him and asked how he was. i accidently spilled my drink and it ran all the way to the front of the auditorium and when i came back with the towels he was already helping me wipe it up. he took the wet ones and brought me more. i was sooooo impressed with his kindness. he even offered to help mop up between services. i am relaxed totally... just cant stop being impressed by his attentive kindness I have known him for a year now. i know take it slow and watch and wait whats next? k.ayn Post Reply

View Profile History	ok so what is next? Posted : 6 Aug, 2009 07:06 AM Make sure you see him. If he knows you went out of your way it should send a clear message to him. Hugging, talking and going out of your way to see him are not making the first move. The "move" is when he takes the risk of alienating himself from you when he asks you out and runs the risk of you saying no. With friendships in church it is very difficult because if you love what you have at church you don't want to suddenly make things awkward by making the "move" thinking she was interested when she really wasn't. Posted : 7 Aug, 2009 01:14 PM Well, Keep in mind, there are guys out there who will go out of thier way to be kind, gentlemen to women, just because it's in them to do it. I, personally would have done the same thing he did. Help you clean up and all. Just make sure you are reading the right signals. The way I am though, I am very bold and will simply inform someone I am interested in them. Then I wait and see what happens. There's a million ways to handle any given question in your mind, but only a few right paths to take. Pray first, move next, wait, watch, and see. Guard your heart, don't put too much out there and just let God's will come about. You will do fine, with him, or whoever, when the time comes. You have proven yourself to be a thoughful and caring lady, that will draw the right guy at the right time. Just be patient and take each day to grow in the lord and learn to love more. Post Reply

Ride it out, go out of your way to talk to him, see him, spend time with him. Best of luck to you - hope it works out!
