Short vs LongPosted : 22 Jul, 2009 03:14 PMTo me, that all depends on whether or not the long profile actually says anything. I've seen longer profiles that have gotten a laugh out of me so those are fine. On the other hand, a long profile that is a list of "can't stands", yeah, not a good idea. |

Short vs LongPosted : 23 Jul, 2009 02:15 PMpersonally I tend to like the longer profiles better, to a certain degree. Obviously if you've written 5 pages about yourself then that's a bit to long and you come across as self-involved. However too short and there's just not enough to get interested in. I've enjoyed profiles that gave a lot of information, I don't necessarily read it all, but I can skim and then read the points that strike me as particularly interesting. |
