I just came across a second scammer on this site. I reported them and they were removed.

My question is, do guys get scammed, too? Do you know if women get scammed more often than men.

Thanks

HI JOY.

I'M NOT SO SURE WHETHER WOMEN GET SCAMMED MORE THAN MEN, HOWEVER I HAVE NEVER BEEN SCAMMED AND I HAVE NEVER COME ACROSS ANY MALE ON CDFF THAT CLAIMS TO HAVE BEEN SCAMMED, SO YOU MAY BE RIGHT.

Yep. I think I remember a few guys talking about a woman coming here and trying to get them to call a sex line, advertising it.

Had 1 from here last week. A lot of these women/men in my opinion look for low self esteemed people and prey on them. They know that most of us have come from break-ups, divorce, seperation etc. And I don't know about anybody else but after my seperation my confidence, and selfesteem were gone. Now the lady from last week was banned from this site. But I had given her my regular e/mail address and then is when she solicited her services. I have her blocked and certainly am not so foolish as to have listened to anything else she had to say. Just be careful!:winksmile

The native Indians used to have a numbering system that went like this:

1, 2, many.

I have had MANY scammers approach me. Yes, I am a guy.

I think a lot of these scammers are men posing as women.

What gets me are some these profiles that have pictures of very attractive women claiming to be from the United States, but when you read the little bit they have in their description you can tell that they don't speak English. Can you say:stop:

But the really sad part is when you look down at the bottom it will show that they are 10 or 15 guys favorites list. Wake up guys and use a little discernment here. Don't be led astray by the pretty face.

I haven't been a scam target here, yet, but I've had several target me from other sites. It's pretty easy to recognize the signs of a scammer.

1. They immediately want to take contact away from this site and to e-mail or messenger.

2. They are in love with you within three days.

3. Their profile lists a place in the USA but their e-mails claim they are on business in Africa.

4. They immediately begin to refer to you as "dear".

5. And, of course, they have a money order they can't cash in Africa so they need you to Western Union them money.

Never sent them any money and never will. Don't send anyoneyou have met on a dating site money, even if they claim to be a Christian.
