Posted : 16 Jul, 2009 11:34 AM I am just wondering why christian men call christian women a prude when they stand firm in there beliefs of no sex before marriage. Now to be fair I am divorced, so I have assumed that the train of thought is that I have all ready done it once so the assumption is from men that I should be willing to do it again? I am just really confused. Not because of my beliefs as I stand strong in my convictions, but the use of that word just floors me coming from Christian men. Any thoughts gentlemen? Post Reply

Many of us have fallen into willful disobedience; but an even greater number of people in our churches have never been obedient to the Gospel of Christ. When someone alleges to be a Christian and follows the lusts of the flesh, call him out as a liar. Does that mean the sinful person is always a false convert? We can never know this side of heaven who's struggling with sin and who is a slave to it. What you can know is that any man who's placed you in a position that compromises your integrity is a man that needs you to show love to him by calling out his sinfulness. It wounds and offends me the way young men and women treat each other as disposable. Our churches have not been immune from the world's message. As long as our pastors continue to teach sensual messages that tickle our ears and refuse to enforce discipline, there is little trust we can place in the testimonies of those who "go to church" or call themselves christian. FIRST OF ALL, JUST AS I HAVE SAID TO MANY WOMEN ON THIS SITE AND TO SOME OTHER WOMEN I�VE MET ELSEWHERE, NOT ALL MEN, WHETHER THEY ARE CHRISTIAN OR NOT, ARE THE SAME. I BELIEVE THAT IT IS VERY UNFAIR FOR U TO PUT ALL CHRISTIAN MEN UNDER ONE ROOF AND CLAIM THAT WE ALL REFER TO WOMEN AS �PRUDE�. BESIDES YOU HAVE NOT MET ALL MEN, SO HOW CAN U MAKE THAT JUDGEMENT, U SURE AINT MET ME, LOL.:ROFL: UNTIL U MENTIONED THE WORD PRUDE, I HAD NEVER HEARD THIS WORD IN MY LIFE BEFORE NOW AND MY PERSONAL SAVIOUR IS MY WITNESS. Posted : 16 Jul, 2009 03:43 PM dear smiles, welcome to the forums. dont worry bout what folks may call you for standin on what you believe.. just keep your stand.. you dont have to be with them men.. thats just a way for them to try to break down your resolve.. theyre tryin to manipulate you by makin you feel bad about yourself .. callin you names and many other ways to be manipulative.. it is my belief that those men are users.. wolves tend to hang closeby the sheep and they look for the weakest ones. thats their prey.. stand strong and drop em like a hot potato.. dont allow their manipulating to make you the weak sheep of the flock.. ole cattle Post Reply

And this is a free site, so anybody can set up a profile, christian or not. In fact, there could very well be men here who are specifically seeking to sidetrack good christian ladies here - so keep your ground, that's a good stand to take. Ian Post Reply
