Are men turned off when they find out a woman has health problems or is disabled?

I would really like to know.

NO WAY, THAT WOULD FAR FROM DETER ME, AS LONG AS I KNOW THAT GOD HAS CHOSEN THE WOMAN FOR ME, NOTHING IN THIS WORLD WOULD BE STRONG ENOUGH TO DEPRIVE HER OF MY UNDYING LOVE AND AFFECTION.

IN ADDITION, I SPOKE FOR MYSELF IN MY LAST MESSAGE.

MEN IN GENERAL MAY POSSIBLY BE TURNED OFF, HOWEVER IF THEY TRULLY SERVE GOD AND ARE GOD FEARING, IT SHOULD NOT REALLY BE A PROBLEM.

dear hope, i wont as i sure aint half the man i used to be myself.. my ole body has been through the ringer and i cant do alot of the things i wanna do or have done in the past.. im just thankful i can do what all i can do still.. so when im lookin at someone else that dont enter my mind.. but if someones never had anything wrong happen to them then they may look at things differently.. i recon its just a preference like anything else about ones potential mate.. dont hold it against em if they they do.. and if they dont then just say praise GOD! hehe

Hey joyful,

It really depends. I actually wound up thinking about this quite a bit; generally speaking, I don't think disabilities or health problems would deter me if I had reason to be interested in the first place. Health problems - especially ones that can be fatal, like Lupus, don't turn me off, but they would discourage or worry me. I mean, am I going to be a widdower soon? And would I go for it and enjoy our time together while I could?

At any rate, what I'm getting at, is if I'm interested, then chances are health issues or disabilities won't slow me down much.

Thank you everyone, for your feedback.

It seems that people who have been around a little longer are more tolerant of health problems, possible because they themselves have them.

Im not but twenty years old but I've seen my grandpa have a pacemaker put in, my mom have proplems with her arteries and my grandfather struggle with COPD. Healt problems and disabilities arent turn ons or turn offs but you should be able to cope with the care if it is serious. I believe in looking on the inside at the heart, a body is simply a shell that is left behind when our spirit goes to heaven so does it really matter if our shell is damaged as long as our soul is whole>? just some food for thought
